Chapter 6 Bring back old memories

Me and Kelly went home and did our homework but couldn't concentrate because her sister wouldn't stop asking us to help her so we decided to go to Starbucks.

When we were driving there we were jamming out to Shawn Mendes and the funniest thing was she hit her head on the back window.

10 minutes later

We got to Starbucks and pulled into the parking lot. We got out of the car, along with our books. When we walked in we were welcomed with the smell of coffee and people welcoming us.

We ordered whatever we wanted and we payed separately. I got the hot chocolate because it was simple and really good. Kelly got a Mochá shake.

We were half way done with out homework and about to leave because we were tired of the people talking and the smell of coffee.

As we were about to leave, Brennen walked in. I nudged Kelly and nudged my way to Brennens way. She looked and then smiled and started giggling.

I decided to text him and see if he could notice I was here. I pulled out my phone, put his number in and texted him.

"Hey, whatcha ordering?"

The text sent and his phone went off, he looked at it and seemed confused. I showed Kelly and she had to cover her mouth with her hand.

He replied,

"Who is this?"

At this point, I was about to explode laughing. I texted him back and said,

"Lmao! It's Samantha! Turn around to the square tables."

He turned around and saw me and smiled. He grabbed his drink and making his way to the table he looked down and smiled.

             Brennens P.O.V 

I was walking to the table that Kelly and Samantha were sitting down at. I just couldn't resist smiling. I sat down and she put her arms on top of her open books.

"Hey. So what brings you to the white girl territory?" She laughed. I smiled and I just brought in the sound of her laugh. Was I really gaining feelings for her?

             Samanthas P.O.V

10 minutes later

Me and Brennen spent probably the past 10 minutes talking about nothing. We just talked. I checked my phone and the bright screen read

7:56

"Wow its 7:56 I better get going; even though its a friday, I still haven't finished my house." I sighed. Brennens face lit up and he smiled "I'll help you with your house."

I smiled and said "Thank you so much." I got my books together, and put them in my bookbag. I looked to my side and I saw a sleeping Kelly. I nudged her head over.

"Wake up. I'm taking you home." she wiped the drool off of her face and got her books together. "You can follow me to my house, I'll drop my car off and you can take me to Home Depot."

He smiled and said, "Ok, yeah. Sounds like a plan." I got to my Jeep that reflected the green-orange sun. Brennen looked at my car and said "She's a beauty." I laughed, "Yeah, but she's mine you can't have her."

He laughed. He said goodbye and we both got into our cars, and drove home.
