After a while, I fell asleep in his arms due to mental exhaustion. Only to wake up in bed sometime later to Sousuke shaking me awake.

"Munto... Munto, wake up already..."

I grumble, pushing him away lightly as I try to curl up in a ball. My eyes peer sleepily at him, the blankets having shifted down to my waist. He must've carried me here while I was asleep.

Sousuke pulls the covers back up. He's holding his coat, which makes me squint at him warily. I don't want him to leave. I don't like being alone...

"Sorry for waking you, but I thought you should know in person. Rin and Nanase had a fight. Nanase went to Makoto's place, and I'm going to Rin's to make sure he's okay. I might be a few days, if it's anything bad."

I blink at him numbly. Rin and Haru... fought? The words send a feeling similar to being doused in ice water through my body. I shiver reflexively, hands pulling the blankets up over my head. He pulls them back down to expose my face, giving me a reassuring smile.

"I'll keep you updated through text, okay?"

I nod out of habit. He cautiously presses a kiss to my temple, making my face grow to feel a bit warm. Glad I'm dark skinned right now.. He leaves after saying goodbye, my heart confused whether to be happy by his small action, or upset about the whole situation. I really don't like when people leave in the evening. Probably because one of my ex's would go out drinking. He wasn't a nice drunk, or good with hangovers.

I wait a few hours before getting up, since I can't sleep anyways. I made myself dinner, then bathed. I grabbed a few extra blankets, since the body heat that normally kept me warm wouldn't be there, and put them on the bed. It seems so big now... I managed to somehow put the lotion on my back, though it required some funky twisting I was borderline sure was going to tear something. I sat downstairs and read until very late, around midnight. As I was crawling back into bed, I heard my phone's text noise. I turned the phone on, squinting at the obnoxiousness bright screen as I tried making out the text with my now-visually-impaired eyesight.

[Sousuke]
-Rin just went to bed. I can't tell if it's anything serious or not. He didn't want to talk about it. He's not injured and the place looks clean as ever, so I don't think it got physical. How are you holding up?

A sigh of relief went through me, my muscles relaxing a smidgen from being tensed due to stress. I hated fighting, of any kind. Even before my own personal experiences with it.

[Me]
-It's cold. I finished my book.

He replies almost instantly, probably laying in bed with nothing else to do. I hope he's warm enough over there...

[Sousuke]
-I should be home after tomorrow, if Rin isn't too stubborn. Were you able to put on that medication okay?

[Me]
-I managed. Probably going to go to the store tomorrow. Anything you need?

[Sousuke]
-You.

[Me]
-That's cheesy and you know it.

[Sousuke]
-Sorry, that was pretty bad. You set yourself up for it though.

[Me]
-I guess so. I'll text Makoto tomorrow and see how Haru is doing. For now, I'm going to sleep. Meds are kicking in.

I never saw his next message, if he sent one. I fell asleep where I was, curled beneath a thick layer of blankets while hugging a pillow to my chest.
