I don't know how long I've been waiting in the wait room for any news about Asami. I fell asleep until I feel a tap on my shoulder. I blink open my eyes and looks up and shoots up quick asking "How is she? Is she alright? Please tell me she's alright?". "She lost a lot of blood but yes she'll be fine. A few of our nurses and doctors had her blood type and did a autologous to save her. She'll be in a coma for a couple of days until her body is back to normal" she says. "What's her blood type?" I ask "O negative" she says "Wait I have O negative blood as well. Could I do a autologous too?" she smiles "Yes you may just follow me and we'll get started". When I finish with the donation she tells me I could go see her and I head to her room that she's in. I walk in and see that they covered her cuts with the bandage wrap and she looks paler than her natural skin color. I also see that they attached her to a machine for her to get the blood that she lost back in her body. I sit down in the chair and watch her chest rise and fall. I sigh "I'm so sorry you have to be in this state. I should have known to go and save you when you didn't come back home...but I didn't and now it's my fault. My job is to protect people from danger...but I couldn't protect you" I start to cry "So hate me all you want I deserve it cause I'm the worst Avatar ever". I hold her hand "But please just get better cause...I don't know what I would do without you."

It's been two days and still no sign of Asami waking up any time soon. I keep holding on to her hand letting her know I'm here. They let me keep Naga who's asleep in the room so she doesn't have to wait outside. There's a knock on the door and the nurse says "I hate to impose but go home and get some sleep Avatar Korra. We'll take care of her for you". I sigh "Alright" I get up and kisses Asami's forehead "I'll be back" I say and wakes up Naga and we leave. I head home and sighs cause it's true I need some sleep. I go take a quick shower and crash on my bed. I hear Naga come in and she gets on the bed and lays beside me and whimpers. I caress her head "She'll be alright girl" she nuzzles into me and still whimpers "She'll be alright" I say again and a tear falls down my cheek.

I wake up early the next day and gets dressed to go to the hospital. Naga was still asleep so I leave by myself. I left plenty of food and water in her bowls cause who knows when I would be back. I get to the hospital and walks inside and goes straight to Asami's room. I walk in and see that she's still asleep. I sit down in the chair and holds her hand again "Well I'm back so don't get your panties in a twist" I laugh quietly. I move her hair out of her face and sighs "Why can't you wake up already? I miss your beautiful eyes, your voice, your smile and your laugh. I couldn't even sleep that much last night cause every dream I had was about you. Some were me who didn't rescue you in time and I still feel awful about that. But please I just want you to wake up already" I hide my face in my arms "I can't handle waiting anymore". "You don't have to".
