Ned: "Keith, what do I do?" Ned asked, putting one hand on his hip and the other on his forehead as he paced back and forth between the outside tables by the basketball court. Keith was busy eating In-N-Out, and Ned couldn't eat because he was too nervous.
"Oou cul calmn duwn fers," Keith said through a mouthful of french fries. "I mean, you could calm down first," he translated.
"I know.. But I wanna ask Y/N out in some cool way, y'know something that says 'Ned'," he said, sounding more like a cliche teen in a love story.
"Then take Y/N to a basketball game or something, I think Y/N watches basketball..," Keith said, answering his own question and sipping his drink.
"I could, there's a game soon," he said before getting an idea. "Thanks, Keith!" He said, sprinting off in his nice running shoes, leaving Keith to eat alone.
He found you in the kitchen, microwaving some leftovers. Now he was a little out of breath but it didn't matter to you as he leaned against the counter all cool next to you. "Hey, Y/N," he said, in a sweet and sociable tone. Classic Ned.
"Oh, hi," you replied, turning towards him as you waited for your food.
"I was wondering if you wanted to go to this basketball game with me?" He asked. "It's in a week, I know it's kind of short notice, but-," he started before you replied.
"Hell yeah, I love basketball," you smiled.
"Cool, I'll email you the time and all," He smiled before walking away and giving himself a little congratulatory punch in the arm.
Zach: Zach hadn't really dated too many people before and so he immediately went to the one guy that he knew got all the attention from girls and guys alike - Eugene.
He sent him an IM through the work messaging system.

Korndiddy: Hey, Eugene, I got a question.
eugenelee: Sure dude go ahead.
Korndiddy: How do I ask someone out?
eugenelee: You like Y/N right? Idk, Y/N's pretty chill.
Korndiddy: WHO TOLD YOU?
eugenelee: Noone, it's just obvious. All you do is tag them in tweets and that's all you bring up in conversation. "Y/N did this! Look at this picture Y/N sent me!" It's totally obv, dude.
Korndiddy: Okay, well anyways, how do I ask Y/N out?
eugenelee: Uh, use some nerdy pick-up line or something, you're nerdy, it'll work.
Korndiddy: Okay, sure, I trust you but if this fails, I'm gonna cry on you
eugenelee: Lol ok sure, oh gtg to a meeting, good luck
eugenelee has signed off

Zach spent part of his morning looking for some nerdy pick-up lines before he asked you out rather than making a quiz or an article for Buzzfeed, or filming a video which was more than likely.
Finally he had the perfect one. Harry Potter.
He quickly saw that you were online and glancing at you from his computer, typed in a quick message with a picture linked to it.
