I participated in a race today. Me and a guy was almost reaching the finish line when I tripped and fell. He stopped and helped me up while the rest grabbed this chance and continued running. He helped me up and walked me over to the side of the track.

" Why did you help me when you could have continued running and won the race?"

He smiled and said,
" It's not always about winning you know. That's the problem. Everyone gets so competitive that they forget that winning isn't everything in the world. And when they forget that, they lose the true feeling of sportsmanship. "

Deep down I knew who was the true winner.
