"I"m glad you like you're new abilities," Shadow said smiling. Which to be completely honest, looked kinda creepy. "Hell yeah!" I yelled happily. "But moreover, now you've proven to me that there really is someone up there," I said softly. "But... why me? I never believed in Him..."
"That is a good question." Shadow exclaimed. "I honestly don't know... But he did it for a reason. Obviously, like he always does."
"But a word of advice, meditate." He told me firmly. Literally, one word... "Meditate? Why?" I asked.
"To keep you abilities balanced and under control, you'll need to meditate, excersice your spirit, mind and body. In a way, you'll be doing what monks have been trying to achieve for centuries. You'll reach a kind of enlightenment that is new for you." He answered.
I sighed, and closed my eyes, luckily; the phone rang and i immediately picked it up. It was a text message. "Hey Ashley!" I typed. Ashley... is my lifesaver, i narrowly escaped meditation thanks to her. "Hey, what's up? You seem extra happy today." She replied; i could practically hear her laughing...
Me:"Nothing... just happy i'm alive."
Ashley: "No other reason?"
Me: "Uhm... i'm going to the movies with mah best fwend. :3"
Ashley: "Oh..? Who is that? Is it a girl?"
I could hear her teasing me, i chuckled. Then went back to typing.
Me: "Yes, as a matter of fact, it is a girl?"
Ashley: "Is she cuter than me?"
Me: "She's not cute. She's gorgeous!"
Ashley: "Can't wait to meet her."
Me: "You can't."
Ashley: "Why?"
Me: "Because you're her."
There was a long pause. My heart raced faster than my sister with a sugarhigh.
"Wait... Are you asking me out?" Ashley asked, calling me after a while of unbearable silence. "Uhm... Yes...?" i answered nervously. "Why did that sound like a question more than an answer?" She asked. I had to keep calm, everything was riding on this moment. "Sorry, just a little nervous..." I answered. "AAWWW!!" She yelled, cooed? No, yelled. "So yeah; wanna go?" I asked. "Hell yeah!" She yelled again.
"When were you planning to go?" She asked. "Originally, today, but it was held up by a small problem..." I answered, glaring at Shadow. "So how about tomorrow?" I asked. "Okay, what movie?" She asked.
I thought, "We'll choose when we're there, we'll have a little company with us after all..."
