Chapter 4

*Spencer's P.O.V*

I stood outside the Cinema waiting for Finn to arrive. I checked my watch for about the tenth time in the past minute. 'Where is he?' I wondered. I looked around the busy shopping centre hoping to see him.

"Spencer!" Finn's voice called out.

I turned around to be greeted by an out of breath Finn. His hair was windswept and his cheeks were red.

"I'm so sorry I'm late" he panted.

"It's fine!" I laughed as we walked up the escalators to the cinema.

"So what movie do you want to watch?" I asked Finn.

"Well I was thinking either Fast & Furious 6 or Monsters University 3D." he grinned

"Monsters University 3D!" I squealed happily. I'd been wanting to see this movie for ages.

We payed for our tickets and got our 3D glasses and then went to the sweets parlor where we bought a large popcorn to share, a slushie each and a packet of MnM's.

As we found our seats towards the back of the cinema and sat down.

"So why did you invite me out?" I questioned taking a handful of popcorn and shoveling it into my mouth.

"I just wanted to hang out with you again." he smiled. "Oh and I wanted to tell you I'm coming to Carlton next week. And so is Jack." he told me excitedly.

"Really! Yay that's so great!" I half whispered half shouted as the ads before the movie started playing.

When we were about half way through the movie I felt Finns arm stretch out and wrap around my shoulder. I smiled and placed my head gently on his shoulder and we stayed like that for the rest of the movie.

Once it had finished we walked out together and headed back to my car.

"Do you want a lift back?" I asked Finn who was concentrating on his phone.

"Um yeah please if that's ok."

We got into my car and drove back to our street.

"Um Spencer? Do you know what this means?" he asked worriedly showing me a text from a new number.

As I read it tears sprang to my eyes. It was from Rhiannon. I don't know how the hell she got his number or how she knew he knew me, but she did. This girl was going to ruin my life.

I didn't even realize I was crying until Finn had embraced me in a warm hug. He smelt a mixture of popcorn and mint.

"I'm sorry. But please ignore any texts from that number?" I asked him. He gave me a small nod and hugged me tighter.

*Finn's P.O.V*

When Spencer had stopped crying I got out of her car and walked back to my house. 'Why did she want me to ignore any messages from that number? What were they about?' hundreds of questions flooded through my mind but I knew I had to respect Spencer's wishes.

~1 Week Later, 2 Days Before University Started~

I can't believe I was actually going to university again. The past week had gone by like a blur. I got to know Spencer better and we went out together as friends and went for runs together. She also introduced me to her friends Emma and Ryan. And now the time had come for me to go back to university.

"Finn are you ready!" Jack yelled from downstairs. I grabbed my suitcase and a small backpack and ran downstairs. The boxes I packed were loaded in Spencer's mums SUV. Between me, Jack, Spencer, Harrison, Emma and Ryan we had taken up boot space in Spencer's Mini Cooper S and her Mums SUV and Emma's sleek titanium coloured Camero.
