*Spencer's P.O.V*

"Really? Do I have to?" I pestered my mum as she shoved me towards the front door.

"Yes, yes you do. Come on Spencer, go!" she said sternly as she put the basket into my hands.

"They're not going to know anyone and I'm just being neighborly ok? Now Go! And don't forget to say what I told you!" and with that mum pushed me out the door and shut it in my face.

Wow sometimes my mum could be the cheesiest person in the world! No one wants a gift basket filled with cakes and biscuits from some random people in their new neighborhood. Would they? I didn't really have much time to wonder because it was only a couple of doors down and before I knew it, I was already standing on the porch of my new neighbours. I huffed and rolled my eyes, looking down at the light brown woven basket before knocking loudly on the door.

"Finn would you get that please?" a deep voice called from somewhere in the house

"Got it!" a reply, who I assumed was Finn, shouted back before the door opened.

A boy who looked about my age with light brown hair and bright green eyes opened the door with a dazzling smile.

"Hey,"the boy said leaning against the door frame.

"Um... Hi" I replied slowly glancing one last time at the basket before offering it to him.

"My mum sent me to give this to you and your family to say welcome to the neighborhood" I managed to get out.

"Thanks!" he put the basket on a table behind the door before turning back to me.

"I'm Finn," he told me as the put his hand out in front him.

"Spencer, nice to meet you" I replied shaking his hand. "I live in number 19" I told him pointing to the average sized house just down the street. "Someone will pretty much always be there if you need help with anything" I said, just like my mum told me.

"Uh thanks so I guess I'll see you round then?" Finn asked, stepping back into his house.

"Yeah. See you 'round!" I said with a smile turning around and walking back to my house.

"Oh wow!" I mumbled under my breath banging on my front door. "He's pretty cute."

"What took you so long?" my best friend Emma opened the door with a big smile on her face.

"Hey Em!" I laughed with excitement as I was pulled through my door.

"Come on let's get this party started!" Emma shouted shaking multiple bags of crisps, sweets and chocolates.

"You go upstairs to my room and I'll get the ice cream!" I made out through laughs.

Walking into the kitchen I saw my younger sister Jasmine talking to someone on her phone, my twin brother Harrison with his friend Ryan and my older sister Melissa helping mum with dinner.

"Did you give that basket to the new people?" My mum asked whilst she stirred some pasta in a pot. "And Emma's here"

"Yeah I know Emma's here," I reached up for the big tub of Ben and Jerry's Cookie Dough Ice Cream I'd bought for tonight as well as 2 spoons.

"Yeah the whole city knows Emma's here!" my brother, Harrison smirked before he disappeared into the next room.

"And yes mum, I did give them basket," I told her shutting the freezer door and walking out of the kitchen and upstairs.

"Ok, so which movie do you wanna watch tonight?" Emma mumbled stuffing more crisps into her mouth as I walked into my room. "I brought, The Proposal, Wild Child, She's The Man, The Vow, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Seasons 1,2&3 of Pretty Little Liars and I have more stuff on my computer."
