As I was running, I looked back but saw no one so I decided to take a break. I think I lost them. Anyways as I was trying to steady my breathing, I remembered the books my mom had given me.

I sat on a nearby log and took out the books. The first one that caught my eye was the multicolored one. I think it was about how to find the other elementals. I wonder if they already know who they are and what they have the ability they have.

I opened the book and saw there was a map. There were 6 dots on it but they seemed to be vibrating I think. Maybe this was like a map that showed where people were currently. I realized the blue dot was exactly where I was so I assumed that must have been me.

"Crack"

I looked up from the book to see what had made that noise. I put the book back into my bag, swung it around my back and stood up slowly trying not to draw any attention.

I scanned the area only to find no one was there. Fear started building up inside me. Then all of the sudden, from the corner of my eye I saw a fireball coming straight towards me.

I quickly stepped to the side and went into a fighting position.

Who was this person that threw the fireball at me? Is this the same person from my nightmares? What does this person want from me? Does the person know what I am? All these questions started popping up in mind.

Then all of the sudden, I felt pain in stomach and fell backwards to the ground.

My vision started to blur with tears and I was soon enveloped by darkness.

I slowly opened my eyes only to find a face about 3 inches away from my face. I shrieked as I remembered the events that had happened only previously.

I quickly punched the guy in the face and backed away. He retreated and brought his hands up to his nose.

Oops. I think that was a little too hard since I saw a trickle of blood run down to his mouth from his nose. Sorry. Wait I shouldn't be sorry, he was the one that attacked me. Yes, I have no need to apologize.

"Oww" said the boy. He looked at me with his blue eyes and I thought that I saw a flash of pain but then quickly turned into anger.

I bit my lip and then asked "who are you and what do you want?"

He sighed and sat down on a log but didn't say a word. He just kept looking at me and studied my face for what seemed like hours.

He finally looked away and said "who are you and what are you doing in my territory?"

"Hey! I asked you first and this is your territory?" I whined.

"Yes this is my territory but you shouldn't have been able to get in because of the protective barrier I set up unless your..." He trailed off.

What? This is so confusing. What barrier and does he know what I am? I thought to myself.

I looked at him and noticed he was staring at something on the ground beside me.

I followed his stare and saw my books lying on the ground. I quickly picked them up and before putting them back in my bag, I remembered that he had thrown fireballs at me. I wonder, what if he's like me, an elemental.

The thought made me smile so I quickly opened the book called "The Elementals". When I saw the map, I gasped my eyes wide open.

Then I heard the boy stand and walk over to me. He took a seat beside me and looked at the book.
