{I decided to update again. You know when you see that a book was updated and you're so excited to read it, but it was just an a/n? Yeah...}

"Hey greatest uncle in the world..." Cara said, putting her bag on the couch of their living room.

"What do you want?" Her uncle Colin smirked.

"Well, I was wondering if I could stay at my friend's house?"

"Where would this house be?" Her aunt Olivia said, walking through the door, smiling.

Cara and Cory had a really good relationship with Colin and Olivia. Sure, they didn't have parents, but in a way they were like their parents.

"I don't exactly know..."

Colin raised an eyebrow. "We kind of just met today." She explained.

Olivia nodded looking at Colin for an official answer.

"Fine. But ask her where her house is."

"No, I'll just go to a random house, knock on their door, and ask them if they knew a Kira, Lydia, or Malia." Cara said sarcastically, opening the door to her room.

"Hey, that might work!" Colin shouted.

Cara laughed and closed her door. She took her phone out of her pocket and texted Kira.

It was dark outside and Cara just finished her homework.

Suddenly, she heard a car honk.

She bolted up, grabbing a small bag of her stuff. Her ankle boots makes loud sounds throughout the small home.

She opens the squeaky blue front door and closes it soon after she steps out of the house.

She sees a black car parked in front of her house and walks to it, knowing it's the girls.

She opens the back door and Lydia and Kira are in the front seats smiling at her.

She smiles back, climbing in the car and putting her seatbelt on.

"We're going to pick up Malia, if that's okay." Lydia says as she starts to drive.

"Yeah, that's fine!"

Malia steps in the car, glancing at Cara. She greets her and buckles up.

The car ride wasn't awkward, but they didn't talk much. They just sat and looked out the windows.

Kira occasionally talked and the girls replied, but after that the comfortable silence took over.

Finally, they made it to Kira's house.

Her parents weren't home, which confused Cara, but she didn't want to ask just in case it was a touchy subject. But it wasn't, they were just at the school, but Cara didn't know that.

They went up to Kira's room, which was plain and small, but Cara liked it. It had a home feel to it.

Unlike Cara's room walls, which were lilac and had been filled with Marina and the Diamonds, Halsey, and Vance Joy posters all over it, Kira's were white with an occasional poster.

Her bed was red and black plaid, which were much different from Cara's mint green bed sheets and blankets.

The whole room was completely different compared to Cara's, but she loved it.

She wondered what the other girls' bedrooms looked like. Was it like Kira's or Cara's? Or way different?

Cara's thoughts were interrupted when Malia asked, "So what do you want to do?"

The girls looked at each other. They all shrugged and went on their phones for next hour.

{pfft please, you think girls really have pillow fights and dance parties at sleepovers? Nah we just watch Dan and Phil and eat}
