The day went by slowly, Cara patiently waiting for her "surprise" party. Lydia said to her that she had to act surprised when she walked into Lydia's home, where the birthday party was being placed.

Yes, the date was October 10th, Cara's, and Marina's, birthday. All morning Cara has been taking selfies on Instagram and tagging Marina, the caption usually saying something along the lines of "OMG MARINA IT'S MY BIRTHDAY TOO".

Lydia, Malia, Kira, and Allison had been planing her birthday party/surprise. It was hours of stressing at Lydia's house, planning exactly what they would do.

It was now six p.m. and Cory was driving Cara to Lydia's home. The plan, that Lydia actually did not tell Cara about, was that they would party for a good hour, then Malia would act as if she had to show Cara something, blindfold her, and drive her to the Marina concert.

Guess who was playing on the radio in the car off Cara's phone? Surprisingly not Marina, but Halsey. Yep, Cara liked other artists other than Marina. I know, shocking.

'I Walk The Line' was playing, which was a cover Halsey did of Johnny Cash's song. It was the only song Cory could stand of Cara's music. Electra Heart got tiring to him after a while, which Cara didn't understand.

They arrived to Lydia's house, Cara practically bouncing up and down from excitement. As soon as she stepped out of the car, Cory sped off, confusing Cara.

Nonetheless, she skipped to the strawberry blonde girl's front door and rang the doorbell, hearing the noise from outside. Footsteps followed and the door opened to reveal Allison.

"Hey! Happy birthday!" Allison smiled, inviting Cara in the huge home.

"Thanks! You too- wait-"

Lydia came in the room and laughed at how awkward the teen was being. She put a hand on her shoulder and guided her to her living room, where a lot of people were waiting, Allison following.

Malia and Kira were dancing next to each other, a burning feeling struck in Cara's chest. She shook it off, figuratively, of course.

Kira saw the birthday girl and waved, Malia looking over her shoulder to see Cara in a purple dress with three quarter sleeves, the hem landing four inches above the knee.

"Cara! Hey!" Malia greeted, running over to her.

Cara grinned at the werecoyote, who was going through the plan in her head. She wanted to make sure everything was absolutely perfect.

"You can go get a drink if you want." Lydia suggested.

Cara nodded, smiling once at the group, walking to the kitchen which had tones of drunk teens acting stupid. She went to grab a bottle of cherry soda, when a random girl stumbled out of nowhere.

"You know, you could have the vodka, right?" She giggled, holding a cigarette to her dry lips.

Cara cringed, shaking her head at the obviously drunk girl in front of her, "No, I'm okay."

"It's not that big of a deal. Just take a bottle."

"Underaged drinking? That kind of is a big deal. I know you're drunk, but I think you still have a brain."

"Just do it." (DON'T LET YOUR DREAMS BE DREAMS.)

"If she doesn't want to drink, she doesn't have to." A voice called out.

Cara turned around to see Malia standing across the kitchen, a stern look on her face. Cara smiled internally, thanking God that Malia had perfect timing.

"Dude, this is none of your business. Get lost." The girl said, scrunching her face up in disgust.

"This is very well my business. She just so happens to be my girlfriend." Malia stated.
