"Cara!" a voice screamed out, sounding haunting to the ears. A layer of water covered her ocean blue eyes, a tear escaping and running down her cheeks.

"No! God, please! No-"

Cara awoke with a gasp then sighed in relief. But then the anxiety came back. She noticed something. Her dreams, or nightmares, haven't been really happening. She could not remember the unpleasing scenes of the future, but she couldn't figure out if it was bad or not. On one hand, she was glad that they were maybe starting to go away and she could just be a normal teenager and have a normal life. On the other hand, this could be very bad, but for some reason, she didn't know why.

She got out of bed already feeling anxious and worried. She tried to push it out of her thoughts, but didn't succeed. She heard a sound that sounded like a person clearing their throat and looked back, following the direction of the noise. She saw her uncle staring at her with one eyebrow raised. She returned with a confused face.

"Did you just wake up? It's noon. And why are you staring at nothing?" he questioned, starting to give Cara a headache.

"Look, I just woke up. Can't I have, like, two seconds of silence."

Her uncle looked at her in a warning way, telling her "watch your mouth" with his facial expressions. She sighed and sat down at the table in the kitchen. He suddenly pulled out a ten dollar bill from his back pocket.

"Can you do me a favor? Go to the store and get some sugar? Olivia wanted to make some cookies for us and we're out of sugar."

Cara groaned, "Fine."

She quickly took the money and went down the hall to her room to get dressed. She just put on a black t-shirt and jeans with brown ankle boots, not trying to impress anyone. Okay, she put on the ankle boots because she might see someone she knows there and she doesn't want to look like complete and utter crap.

She went outside and started to walk when she heard the bush rumble. She looked in the direction of the random bush, thinking it was a bird or something. She shrugged and continued to walk until she heard a growl come from the now mysterious bush. She stopped and looked at it again, now expecting a dog of some kind, but nothing. Her eyes rolled.

She finally got to the store and started to walk up to the isle that has the sugar. She picked the cheapest one and went to the register. She paid for it and walked out. But then, she heard a loud scream that sounded like it could easily be from a horror movie.

Her entire body stopped, as well as her heart, and debated whether to go help or not. Of course, she picked to help and ran in the direction of the scream.

She arrived in the woods, still somehow carrying the grocery bag with the sugar in it. But she did not expect what she saw. Her eyes darted all around the creepy location, pausing as she saw strawberry blonde hair.

Cara stepped closer to the girl, she guessed, and saw Lydia Martin, her best friend sitting in the woods alone and looking vulnerable.

"Lydia?"

"They're all going to die."
