Author's note:: Vallie bear finished her chapter before I did so most of chapter one was her, at least towards the end and it was only based on what she had written. "I can't write." she says. "I'm not going to be good at this" she says "Bailey will be better" she says. Pffftt. I call bull on that one Val. Anyways, here's the next chapter. Enjoy my lovelies!

Ivie
I pushed out the door and onto the busy sidewalk. I looked down at my phone and opened up a new text messaged addressed to Twix.
To: This Bitch
If you want the goods, meet me at Central Park in 15..
"Wait up!" I roll my eyes and sigh before turning around. It's the girl from the coffee shop.
"What do you want!" I put extra emphasis on the want. Basically, the second after I finished my sentence, she tackled me to the ground. After I caught my breath, I snapped. "What the massive fuck is your problem?" I yelled. The people on the sidewalk glanced down at us, but otherwise, ignored us as they walked in a path on each side of us. The girl grabbed my necklace as she sat on my stomach and began inspecting it. "GET OFF!"
"I knew it." She whispered.
"What?" I asked, momentarily forgetting that I was pissed. She finally got off of me and stood, before helping me up off of the ground. My phone went off but I ignored it, turning to my attacker. "One: Who are you? Two: WHY THE FUCK DID YOU JUST TACKLE ME? And three: What do you mean "you knew it"
"Your necklace." She said simply.
"Yeah, what about it?"
"I had to know what it said," she began. "It's important."
"Okay. You could have just asked." I huffed. "Now, why don't you answer my other questions; who are you and why is my necklace so important?"
"I'm Olivia West. I can't exactly explain why your necklace is so important, not at the moment anyways." She paused. "But if you let me take you to dinner tonight, I can explain everything. And I'd be making up for spilling coffee on you and tackling you to the ground."
I thought about it for a moment. I knew I didn't have any food in the house, not that I was taking advantage of Olivia's offer but I didn't exactly want to get McDonald's again. And I did want to know why she went completely mental over the inscription on my necklace. "Fine." I finally sighed in surrender.
Olivia clapped her hands and jumped. "Yay!"
I looked down at my phone, finally answering the text I had gotten.
From: This Bitch
Alright. I'll be there. Same spot, right?
I replied a quick, "yeah." before looking back up at Olivia.
"I have to meet up with a friend real quick and then I'll have to go home and get a shower, get ready, the usual." I paused and she nodded. "Where is this place?"
"Here, give me your phone." She said holding out her hand. I hesitantly handed it to her. "I'm going to text my phone so I have your number and I'll text you the address, the place is called The View. Try to dress up a little bit. It's 5:30 now, try to make it by 7, 7:15 at the latest. That work?"
"Yeah, sure."
"I never caught your name." Olivia said, handing me back my phone.
"I'm Ivie, Ivie Daniels."
"It's nice to meet you, Ivie."
"Yeah, well, I can't exactly say the same for you." Hurt flashed over her eyes and I instantly regretted saying it. She just smiled to cover it up. "Well, I've got to get going if you want me there by 7."
"Yes. Bye, Ivie. See you later."
"Bye." I said turning towards Central Park. It was a 7 minute walk from here. I started to think about the train wreck of a situation I had just left, this was going to be an interesting night.

I walked over to the usual park bench that Twix and I usually met at and sat down. Three minutes later she was throwing herself on the bench next to me. "What up, Mouse?"
"No much, the usual. You have my money?"
"Got it right here." She said pulling out a wad of money and waving it in the air. I opened up my bag and pulled out the little coin purse that I had her stash in. She handed me the money and I gave her the drugs.
"Good doing business with you Twix, but I've got somewhere to be tonight."
"Sure you don't want to come to my place and help me with this?" She asked me this every time.
I replied with my usual answer. "You know I'm not about that life."
"You shouldn't knock it until you try it, babe."
"Thanks, but no." I said stashing my money in my bag and standing, throwing it over my shoulder.
"Whatever, more for me. See you next time, Mouse."
"Catch ya later." And we went our separate ways.
I made my way out of the park and across the street, down a few houses and up a set of stairs. I pulled my keys out and unlocked the door to my two bedroom one and a half bathroom house. I smile and shut the door as my little white ball of fur comes galloping through the hallway. I squat down and my kitty, Meatball, pounces into my arms. I had just gotten her about three weeks before. "Hey baby girl, did you have a good day today?" I ask as I scratch in between her ears and she begins to purr. I set my bag down at the foot of the stairs and throw my sunglasses on the little table in the hall before putting my keys on the hook and turning the lock on the front door. I make my way to the kitchen with Meatball still in my arms.
"You thirsty, baby?" I asked as I set her down on the floor. I grabbed a small bowl and filled it with milk before laying it down and heading back to the hallway to head upstairs. My phone buzzed as I reached the top step and I look down to see who was texting me.
From: The Great Annoyance
Hey, it's Olivia. Meet me at The View, you know what time. The address is 1535 Broadway. Is that okay? See you there! xx
I decided not to respond and to just get ready. I jumped in the shower and did all of that, shaving and whatnot. After I jumped out I wrapped a big fluffy towel around myself and headed to my closet in the guest room. That's where I kept all of my "girly-er" clothes. I searched until I found a strapless top that had cuts in the sides but frilled out below that. I also found a pair of black skinny jeans with white polka dots and a pair of red heals. I grabbed my black clutch that was on the shelf above me. I headed to my bedroom and found my black strapless bra in my top drawer. I got dressed before brushing my hair, it would dry into natural curls. I painted my nails a black and white pattern and put on my make-up, putting on bright red lipstick to match the shoes. I also added a nice watch/bracelet set that Twix had given me for my birthday last year and a cross ring, I wasn't really into the religion thing but I had a good feeling that Olivia was so I figured I'd do it to annoy her. Adding the final touches to my outfit, I deemed myself ready.
Downstairs I went, kissing Meatball and walking out of the house, shutting and locking the door behind me. I hailed a taxi and climbed in telling the woman the address to the resturant. I played Temple Run on my phone until we reached The View. I thanked the woman, handed her the money and got out of the taxi. I stepped up on the sidewalk, paused, and took a deep breath.
"Here goes nothing." I mumbled as I walked through the doors.
