I start to feel bad for snapping at kellin after I've cooled off. If little, nice kellin is calling me a dick, I know I've pushed him over the edge. I also know that it's probably not the best idea to go and try to apologize right now. So instead I find the laundry room and wash my very unclean clothes. I've got to have something besides this shit to wear tonight. I stay in the clothes that kellin lent me in the meantime. I figured I should attempt to look ok around his parents. It's the least I can do for all they've done for me.

I'm in the game room, just passing time, when around six, the Bostwicks come home, looking both exhausted and content.

"How was your day?" Father Bostwick asks politely at the door way. I set the game controller done and force a smile on my face. "Slow. Kellin gave me a great tour though." I say, attempting to get kellin, who is standing behind his father glaring, to subtly forgive me. I  acted like an asshole and I can admit it.

"That's wonderful. If you'll join me and Lisa in the living area, we can go over job offers." He says gesturing outside of the room. I nod and get up to follow him. Kellin doesn't stick around and instead gives his father a hug before murmuring something I can't hear and rushing back upstairs. I know I was a little harsh with the kid but isn't he over reacting a little?

The priest and his wife sit on one long couch and I sit on a chair across from them awkwardly. I have an odd sense of déjà vu sitting here. It reminds me of the time my parents sat me down before I went to college. It lease me feeling a little sad. I mean, I failed them completely and all they wnted for me was the best. Now they could care less. Before I can really get into my self-hatred, the Bostwick interrupt my thoughts.

"So Lisa and I thought about it last night and we came up with a few options." He starts. I nod and wait for him to continue, curious as to what he has in mind.

"so we we're thinking you can help us out in church and we'd pay you, you can help out at the hotel with kellin or you can help the house workers here at home." He says with so much excitement you would think he's offering me literal free money. I can't help but smile though. For an uppity rich priest he really is a good guy.

"I um I think that I'd like to work at the motel if that's ok." I say. I can get my real work done there easily. I mean it's a petty sleazy place despite the church taking it over and I saw a few strung out people there last time I was there, so it's actually perfect.

Father Bostwick beams at my choice and I almost feel bad for deceiving him.

"I'm sure Kellin will be excited. You guys seem to be getting along really well." Lisa says with a smile. I nod my head with a smile. I'm sure Kellin will just love me coming to work with him.

"oh and we know that you aren't in the best place with money right now so we'd like to give you a little bit of money so that you can buy some new clothes. We noticed you only had a backpack" Lisa continues. I feel kind of weird excepting the money. I'm already living with them.

"It's fine really..." I say with a small shake of my head.

"Nonsense. We'll have kellin take you to the mall tomorrow. You can start working the day after." Mr. Bostwick says, brushing off my protest. I only give them a small smile. I guess with how much money they have it shouldn't bother me that much.

"Thank you. You guys have already done so much for me." I say earnestly.

"Don't thank us I'm sure you'd do the same." The priest says with a smile. I just nod and excuse myself, and back to my room.

I wait until everyone is asleep sometime after dinner before I start to formulate a plan to get out of the house unnoticed. I realize right away that I have no way of actually getting to the club. An idea comes to mind and I know it's literally a horrible idea but I don't really have much options. I get dressed in my normal clothes, black skinny jeans and a red flannel, before making my way silently to kellin's room. I decide against knocking, afraid to make too much noise and wake his parents. The room is dark and I assume he's asleep, which is weird because it's only ten. Who goes asleep this early besides old people? I close the door softly behind me and feel around the wall for the light switch and flick it on, illuminating the room with a bright, white light. Kellin's pale form moans beneath the covers.
