"How do you know?" Aunt Crystal asks.
"Our spy on the inside of the castle sent me this message."
I lay out the paper. "This symbol, the black sun, is Abaddon." I point out. "The red waves symbolizes our base to the east. Near the ocean."
"To anyone who intercepts the message, it's nothing more than a child's drawing." I explain.
"What are the three fish in the ocean? One is black." Luke says.
Three fish.
What does Aubrey mean?
Three days.
One is black. That means the third night.
Of course, he wouldn't attack during the day, not his style.
"They're attacking tonight!" I yell. "It took two days to deliver the message through all the channels." I throw everything off the table and spread out a large map.
"Mom and Hannah, stay here. Luke, take your best shooters and take position on the roof. Jack, I want you here, on the left side at an angle, I'll take team C on the right. The ocean provides a vantage point for us, he can only come in on one side."
"Jade, what can we do?" Aunt Crystal asks.
"I want you to protect the rest of the royal family. We have to keep you all safe. Aunt Crystal, you'll position in the trees facing the entrance to the base."
"I'm better with a crossbow than she is with a bow." Pollux says.
"Position Castor and I in the trees. Leave Jack here, he'll do better in charge than any of us. Put Uncle Derek in lead of team B."
