Hannah smiles at me. She looks beautiful. Mom made a beautiful dress and I gathered some wildflowers. Uncle Derek looks like he's trying to hold back tears as the walk, the medicine helped bring color to her face but I can see the pain her face as she takes a step. She stands next to me and faces Khay'rat. Everyone is gathered around our makeshift altar and Aunt Crystal start the wedding. Khay'rat slips a ring onto Hannah's finger, the one Aunt Crystal wore around her neck. A joyous event and everyone looks like they may cry. He whispers something in elvish to her.

"I love you."

"What?" I whip around to face Kazimir.

"He said 'I love you.'"

"Oh."

"I've grown to like that fairy."

"Human. She's human."

"Her body may be human, but her soul is fairy, elf, mermaid, angel. She may look like a human, her actions say otherwise. Just like you." I smile and turn back to Hannah.

She's standing in front of Aunt Crystal and Little Derek.

"Do you promise to protect everyone?" Hannah asks.

The young boy nods.

"Will you please take care of Aunt Crystal and Uncle Derek?"

He smiles and says yes.

"I hereby declare you a royal guardian of Ironbelle." Hannah smiles and hands Little Derek a small sword. "You will protect this kingdom forever."

He'd make a good guardian. Derek could train him. Kai made an excellent sword for the boy.

Kai...

His ship.

"Kai!" I yell. The elf jumps a bit and turns to face me. "Someone get Meena, get me Mercury. Hannah you are not going to die on my watch!" Meena runs over to me, towering above. I mount Mercury. "Khay'rat, Kazimir, Kai, with me. Uncle Derek, get Hannah to Phorynth as fast as possible." He smirks and helps Hannah mount Meena. She blares her trunk and runs off. "Jack! Get everyone into the base, civilians, military, royalty, all. Let's go!"
