A/N:Story by hythros

One day in the TARDIS Amy was bored. So she sat in the console room, her legs dangling from the railing and thinking quiet hard.

And The Doctor? Oh he was gone, hours ago! And nobody quiet knew where he has passed.

So Amy just sat there, feeling all dull, nursing a cuppa which slowly got cold.

Than all of sudden, oh dear? What was that? An explosion is sounded from not far ahead. The Doctor rushes into the room, smeared with charcoal from head to toes! Amy is shocked. She jumps to her feet and cuppa rolls down of her knees.

"Doctor, what has happened?!" she asks him in a shock.

"Amy, get down there!" he replies without mock. She does as he said and rushes to his side. "Amy, listen carefully," he bends down to tell: "I need to get rid of this, quick, don't ask why." Amy looks at him, her mouth wide with a gasp. She pulls back for a slap and suddenly falls dump.

"Doctor, what is this?" she demands to know.

"Amy, no time for questions!" he replies all cold. Amy crosses her arms and shifts on her feet.

"What do you want me to do?" she tries not to deed.

"Open the console!" he yells at her fast. Amy does as she was told, not making a fuss. Together they manage to pull it apart. The TARDIS moans and whines but they get the task done. Quickly the Doctor rushes to the side, out of his pocket he pulls a tiny black lizard and...he throws it inside!

The TARDIS screams and puffs and glows. And all of sudden the TARDIS is gone! Black, dead and empty. That's all that is left. The heart of TARDIS? It's burnt out to nothingness.

"Doctor, what have you done?" Amy says. The Doctor shifts to his feet, suddenly looking all small.

"That shouldn't have happened" he admits sheepishly. Amy pulls back for her slap...as suddenly There! A tiny faint glow. Both Amy and the Doctor rush to the core. Tiny, weak and yet is there.

Amy looks down and doesn't quiet believe her own eyes. It's her good old cuppa. Lying right there inside! Forgotten it rolled back over the floor and there, just where it was needed, it spilled it's liquid.

"Ha!" the Doctor exclaims in his joy. "Good ol' cup of tea, always saves the day."
