After paying the taxi driver, Samantha got off the cab and walked into the studio while trying not to put any weight on her right ankle. During her struggle she dropped her bag and her things were scattered everywhere right by the door. Cursing herself, Sam began to bend down and was about to lose balance had someone not grab her by the arm and pulled her up. She gasped and turned around to see who it was.

"Aaron!" she exclaimed, and she felt like her heart had skipped a beat. What the hell was that?!

"Morning Sam, let me get it for you" Aaron said bending down and gathered all her belongings and handed them back to her. "Here, let me help you with the door." he held the door open for her.

"Thank you!" she said grinning; mentally kicking herself when she coudn't seem to stop smiling stupidly at him, she could feel her cheeks heating up. What's happening? What's wrong with me? She tried to push the peculiar feeling away as she walked past him and rushed to her dressing room. Aaron only stared after her with curiousity. He had a strong urge to get to know her. But, somehow, he seemed to always miss his chance.

                             .............................................................................................................................

"In the rain, the pavement shines like silver. All the lights are misty in the river..."  Samantha's angelical voice floats about the studio during the dress rehearsal. All eyes were on her; it was as if everyone was so hypnotized by her voice that they couldn't tear their eyes away.

"God, Sam is such an incredible singer!" Killian stated, George nodded in agreement.

"I know right. She's even improved since the concert. How that is possible, I don't know." Alistair agreed.

"Sam is something isn't she?" Aaron said, staring at the girl in discussion, "you'd never guess it, listening to her warm ups. Like a strangled cat."

"Yeah, we should actually start using that warm up! Seems like it really works." Hugh Skinner said, laughing along.

"Yeah, plus, it's cute!" Aaron added. He was known to his friends to have an understanding with cats.

"I love him. I love him. But only on my own."  Sam finished her song and suddenly the studio was filled with applause and congratulating cheers for her. Amanda went up and gave her a squeeze while complimenting how amazing she was. As if starting the trend, everyone started circling around her, complimenting her. Along with everyone else, Killian, George, Alistair, Hugh and Aaron also went up when the crowd began to disperse. They all circled around her, with Aaron standing slightly out of it as he didn't want his fractured arm colliding with anythingWhen they started to back away he moved closer.

"Sam, that...that was really good!" Aaron said, his lips curling up into a smirk, "that deserves a high five" he put his hand up. Sam lifted her hand up, slapping his.

"C'mon guys, let's go for a break!" George said cheerfully, and started walking with Killian, Alistair and Aaron on the edge. They had only began on their path when Aaron realised that Sam wasn't with them. He turned back to find her grimacing in discomfort. He hurried back to assist her, his face showing great concern.

"Hey, let me see that." he bent down to check her sprained ankle, the swelling seemed to get even worse, "Woah, did you do everything the doctor told you to?" Sam nodded in response. "Did you rest it properly?" he asked

"Yeah. Kinda..." she said, and added when she saw Aaron's raised eyebrow, " Well, yesterday the taxi broke down on the way, so I had to walk the rest of the way back to my flat."
