I woke up with a massive headache. I groaned and looked at saw Jacquees who was sleep with his dreads across his face.
"Nyla" My dad knocked I hurried up and pull the cover over Jacquees so my dad wouldnt get a bad idea. I opened the door and stepped out
"Yea?"
"Get ready we have to go to the school to get you together for monday"
"Ok ill be down" I went back into my room and woke Jacquees up
"What" He whined
"Get up you have to get out"
"Why, ya bed so comfortable" He turned over
"I have to get dress"
"So i wont look" He mumbled into my pillow. I sighed and went to take my shower

"So Nyla are you ready to start on monday" The principal Mrs. Liyeon asked me
"Well no but yes" I pushed my hair out of my face
"Explain"
"Well im not ready because im new of course but im i am ready to get this last year over before graduating"
"Oh well Im sure you will love it here there are many ways you could earn credits and graduate early" She told me handing me papers with the information on them.
"I could graduate early here" I asked with excitement written on my face
"Yea you would have to just work a little more than what you are now" She nodded
"Ok"
"what school are you coming from?" She asked
"Um Manhatten High in New York"
"I here that was a decent school for being in New york" She told me
"It was" My voice sadden as I began to think about my friends and boyfriend
"So we will be expecting you in 2 weeks" She stood and reached her hand out to shake mine
"Ok see ya then" I shook it
Once we got home i went in the kitchen to see my dads wife cooking
"Hey Nyja" She said getting my name wrong
"Its Nyla"
"Oh im sorry you wanna help me cook"
"Im good" I went upstairs to my room and finished unpacking I layed on my bed and decided to face time my boyfriend, Jeremiah
"Hey ma" He smiled big once he anwsered
"Hey boo"
"What you doing"
"Nothing. I miss you babe"
" I miss you too ma"
"Wheres my boo" I asked refering to his little brother
"Jojo Ny on the phone" He called out and soon Jojo appeared in the phone
"Baeee!" He yelled

"Ight now" Jeremiah glared at him
"Jealous ass" Jojo said
"Aye watch yo mouth"
"Nigga Im grown"
"Boy you only 15"
"So" He shrugged than walked out of the camera view "Im 15 but I bet you my dick bigger than yours"
"Aye put ya shit away gay ass!!" Jeremiah looked like he was about to throw up
"Baby fix your face" I giggled
"Nyla!!" I heard my dad yell
"I got to go I love you"
"I love you too ma"
I hung up the phone and went downstairs
"Yes daddy" I said
"Why are you being disrespectful to you step-mother" He had a confused look on his face
"I wasnt she said my name wrong and I didnt want to help her cook" I rolled my eyes when he turned his head
"Im just trying to make you feel at home Im sorry" Hi wife said wiping her eyes "Uh excuse me" She sped towards the bathroom
"Ny" My dad sighed "Babygirl can you try to get along with her shes happy to have a stepdaughter she wants you and her to have a good relationship like you have with yiur mother"
"She cant replace mom and never will" I rolled my eyes
"Look we gonna have to get somethings straight. You will not talk to me like that. Your my babygirl but I wont be having that. You will show Mariah respect stepmother or not I raised you to respect your elders and so did you mother. Now I want you to apologize to her for how you acted. Im not saying now but you have to"
He had a serious look on hus face so I knew he wasnt playing
"Hey Ny you wanna go to the mall Im meeting up with a few friends" Jacquees asked coming into the kitchen
"Um no Im fine" I went up to my room and changing into some yoga pants a crop top and put my hair in a long french braid
I crawled into bed taking my nap that I always take.
