"Mom sit down and do something" I told her walking back into the kitchen with a apron on
"Child i need to get some of this stuff done for tomorrow" She said cutting up some potatoes
"Listen to your daughter and have a seat" Her boyfriend Charles said pushing her lightly towards the stool
"How am I gonna cook if im sitting" She rolled her eyes at him
"Ill do all the moving around and you do what you can while you sit" I moved the cutting board down the island and infront of her
"Ok fine" She gave up. We were cooking some things for dinner tomorrow. Momma always like to start a day ahead when all of the famil was coming over. Momma also pulled out the throw away plates, silver wear, cups, napkins, and anything else she didnt have to clean after it was used. The food was cooked in throw away pans unless it had to be cooked on the stove.
"Momma is Uncle Robby and Aunt Chrissy coming?" I asked her ask I started to work on the green beens
"Yea they should be I have to call everyone tonight and make sure whos coming and whos not" She pushed her curly hair out her face
"I hope Aunt Lala isnt coming" I said
"You and me both but we have to bare with her shes working on getting clean"
My Aunt Lala was one of the many drug attics in New York. She wasnt homeless or anything just to hooked on the drugs. When she would come around I would get a weird feeling from her
"I hope she does I hate not being able to sit around her comfortable"
We cooked a few more things then we decided to take a break. I looked at my phone seening that it was 5pm
"Charles can I use your Jeep to go to the air port" I asked as I walked into the basement
"Yea dont crash my car Ny" He tossed me the keys
"Oh I've drove your car before and it didnt have a scratch on it you can trust me" I said walking away. I slipped on my shoes and grabbed my hoodie walking out the house. I stopped and got some gas and also a hot chocolate with marshmallows
I pulled into the air port and spotted my dad and them. I pulled up infront of them and got out
"Hey guys" I smiled hugging them. Jacquees tried to slide his hands to my butt so i just pulled away shaking my head
"Were gonna stay at a hotel and Jacquees is gonna stay with you. You mom said shes fine with it" My dad told me while putting their suit cases in the trunk
"Are you guys gettimg a rental car for the next week and a half" I asked
"Mariahs friend is gonna let us use her car" He told me
"Ok"
I dropped them off at the hotel and stayed while they had gotta situated. I pulled up to best buy and looked at Jacquees who was sleep in the passenger seat
"Quees..."I pulled on his lip "Wake up"
"Mhm" He turned away from me facing the window
"Ight bet you wont get none of this anymore" I said starting to get out the truck
