"Ew what the fuck" I burst out laughing. Me and Jacquees were sitting in out living room of our new apartment trying to come up with names for our daughter whos coming in less than 3 months
"Shut up" He laughed while putting some boxes in the corner
"How about Brielle" I said putting down my phone
"Brielle?" He thought for a minute "I like it. You like it mama?" He said to my stomach earning a small kick
"I guess she does" I sighed feeling her get a little happy with the kicking
"Ok stop giving mommy a hard time" Jacquees kissed my stomach. I stood up and went into the kitchen to get my hourly glass of apple juice mixed with water
"Baby" I called out
"Yea"
"When you go out can you get me some more apple juice"
"Ok" My phone rang so i went and got it off the couch. I looked and seen it was someone who I havent talked to in about 6 months
"Hello"
"Nyla? Hey"
"Can I help you?" I heard her sigh
"I wanted to talk to you...In person"
"Why? You wanna be a mom to me now?"
"Im sorry sweet heart I swear if you just talk to me in person i will explain everything" She plead
"How your in new york"
"No Im here in Atlanta"
"Since when"
"A few days"
"Ok ill text you my address come over in 3 days" I had to prepare my self
"Ok thank you" She hung up
"Who was that" Jacquees said being nosy
"My mom"
"Oh not getting into that" He walked into our bedroom and came back out after 10 minutes
"Ight Im out Ill be back soon" He bent down to kiss me
"How soon" I bit my lip
"Gimme til 11" It was 830 now
"Ok I love you" I pecked his lips multiple times
"I love you too. Bye bye mama" he kissed my stomach. I watched as he walked out then sighed to my self
"Now its just you and me Bri"

"Aye bro aint that the nigga that got off on you last time" My nigga Lucas asked while pointing across the street
"Yea thats the nigga" I nodded
"He got some people with him this time"
"Nigga bout to try sum" Malachiae said while leaning on his car. I looked at the time on my phone and seen it was going on 11pm
"No he not" I chuckled "but Im bout to bounce I told Ny ill be home around 11" I dapped them
As I was walking to my car I heard Malachiae yelling at me
"Yo Quees watch out!" Before I could even turn around I felt pain peircing through my back.
"Ahh Shit!!" Was the last thing that came out of my mouth before everything went black.......

*Ring....ring...ring*
I reached over to the night stand and grabbed my phone. Without looking at the caller Id i anwsered
"Hello"
"Ny ma you gotta get to the hospital" Malachiae said
"Why whats wrong" I sat up confused
"Jacquees was shot mama"
"What? No no hes here" I looked to my left and seen he wasnt there "Your playing right"
"We at the hosital near our old high school" He said
"O-ok Ill be there" I hung up and hurried up to put on some shoes and grab my keys
I speed down the street. Turning a 20 minute drive into a 5 minute drive. Once I parked I tried to walk as fast as I could into the hospital
"What happened" I asked once I walked in and seen everyone there including Tiana
"He was walking to his car and got shot by some nigga that got beef with him" Malachiae said walking towards me
"Hes ok right?" I aske with tearing at the brim of my eyes
"Hes a sleep right now but they said he might fall into a coma"
"No this cant be happening. We were just talking!" I cried
"He gonna be alright ma he gonna pull through" He hugged me while rubbing my back
"Can I see him"
"Yea his room the 3 one down the hall"
I walked away sniffling. Once I got to the room I took a deep breath and walked in. He didnt look as bad as I expected but he was still banged up.
I shut the door and walked towards the bed and sat in the chair. Grabbing his hand I kissed it
"Wake up baby. Me and brielle need you. Your son needs you even Tiana. Just wake up please" I spoke softly. I didnt expect him to hear me but just needed him to know that Im here by his side.
I stayed there all night not wanting to leave his side. It had to be around 9am when I was woken up by kendra
"Were going to get some food do you want anything"
"I um..no Im not hungry"
"Come on Ny you cant be doing this again you have to eat you not just eating for yourself"
"Fine bring me anything it doesnt matter"
"Ok oh and mom and pops are on there way back from Cali now"
"Ok" And with that she walked out
I tried to release my hand from Jacquees hand but he had a grip on in. I thought he was a wake but he wasnt.
All I could think about was would Brielle ever get to meet the wonderful father she has?
