Meet & Greet || Hunter Rowland

Chapter 17

Hunter's POV

I woke up really early this morning and was thinking that Brandon, Ava, Mia, and I could all go to the beach today, even though we have all went to the beach together already. Then maybe Mia and I could go out to eat after we are all done swimming at the beach. Mia now just woke up and she asked, "what are you doing up so early?". "Just thinking about what we could do today, that's all", I said. She sat up and asked, "Since you are thinking about what we could do, what you planning for us today?". "I was thinking that Ava, Brandon, you, and I could all go to the beach and then after that you and I could go out to eat. How does that sound?", I asked. "That sounds wonderful", she said smiling. 

Mia's POV

After Hunter told me what we were doing for the day, I got up off the floor and went to my closet to pick out what I was wearing to the beach. I grabbed my bikini (picture & that's how Mia actually looks) and a crop top with some jean short to put over the top. I went into the bathroom and put everything on and left my natural wave in my hair and no makeup. Once I got out of the bathroom Ava and Brandon had finally woken up, so I asked, "Guys we are going to the beach today, do you want to come with?". Brandon looked at Ava and she shook her head and then Brandon said, "Yeah we would love to go, Hunter and I need to go get our stuff from the hotel and Ava needs to get her stuff from her house". "Yes I know Brando", I said laughing. 

All of us piled into Ava's car and went to her house first. Hunter, Brandon, and I just stayed in her car while she went inside to go get changed into something to wear to the beach. I looked at Brandon and said while smirking, "So Brando you and Ava?". "Well I like her but we haven't moved forward like you and Hunter have", he said blushing. "Maybe you and Ava will get to know each other better over these three days before we have to leave to go back to Arizona", Hunter said. "Yeah, hopefully", Brandon said.

After Brandon said that to Hunter, Ava came walking out of her house and got in her car and then she drove to the hotel that Hunter and Brandon are staying in so they can go get changed also. We all just listened to the radio on the way to the hotel, and it only took about 20 minutes to get there. We made it to the hotel and then Ava and I just stayed in the car while Hunter and Brandon went to their hotel room to get changed. 

"It might take them awhile", I said laughing. "Why do you think that?", Ava asked. "Oh I don't think it, I know it. When Hunter and I came to pick up Brandon to go see you yesterday it took him forever to get ready, and I was talking to Christine and she said that Hunter takes just as long as Brandon does", I said. "So we might be here for awhile", Ava said laughing. "Yeah definitely going to be here for awhile. But anyways, lets talk about you and Brandon", I said. "What is there to talk about?", Ava asked. "Everything! As in do you like him?", I asked. "Yeah I like him, and I'm talking about this", she said. "Come on Ava, why not?", I asked. "I just don't want to", she said. Well Ava doesn't seem to be in the greatest mood today.

After that I just went on my phone until Hunter and Brandon came back out to Ava's car. "What's wrong?", Hunter asked quietly. "Nothing, Ava just seems to be in a really bad mood today and I'm not sure why", I said. "Oh well it will be fine, she will probably be in a better mood when we get to the beach", he said. 

We finally made it to the beach, once we got there we all got out of the car and found a spot to put all of our stuff. After we set everything down, Hunter and I ran out to the water and started to splash each other. Soon Brandon came to join us, but then I noticed that Ava was still just sitting on the beach watching us and not coming into the water. "Brandon what is wrong with Ava?", I asked really wondering was is wrong with my best friend. "I'm not sure, I asked her and she just told me that she was fine and to go have fun in the water", she said. 

Ava's POV

Everyone thinks that I'm in a bad mood when really I'm not. Okay maybe I am, I just don't want to admit it to them. I can tell they are all talking about me, because they all stopped messing around in the water and looked at me and then Hunter and Mia started talking to Brandon. After they were done talking Hunter came walking out of the water and sat next to me and asked, "What's wrong?". "Did they really send you over here to ask that? Because I already told them that nothing was wrong", I said. "Yes they did send me over here to ask that, Ava I don't really know you that well and I know that something is wrong. Will you please just tell me what is wrong?", He asked. 

"I can't, I talked to Mia about this when we were in Arizona. But she probably doesn't remember, and it doesn't matter anyways", I said. After that Hunter got up and went back in the water by Brandon and Mia and started talking to them and then suddenly Mia came out of the water and sat next to me and said, "Please just tell me what is bothering you". I thought about telling her and then said, "Mia if I told you, you would probably be so mad at me. So I would rather not get you mad". 

Mia then looks at me and says, "I promise that I won't get mad, so will you please just tell me?". "Alright, so do you remember when I was mad when we were in Arizona?", I asked and Mia just shook her head yes and told me to continue. "Well I was mad that Hunter was really into you and now that he asked you out, I'm kind of upset. Just because you knew how much I was into him before we met him at the meet and greet in Arizona", I said. "Ava that's not my fault that he likes me, and that I like him back. I'm going to break up with him just because you liked him alot and are mad that I am dating him", she said walking away from me.  

Mia's POV

I go back in the water after what Ava said to me and I went over by Hunter and Brandon and they asked, "So why is she so upset". "It's nothing, I don't want to talk about it. Are you guys ready to go?", I asked. Hunter pulls me farther away from where Brandon is at and says, "What's wrong?". "I'll tell you when we get back to the house. If we go back do you want to watch some movies before we go out to eat?", I asked. "Yeah that sounds good, I'm gonna tell Brandon that we are going back", he said. 

Hunter went over by Brandon and told him that we were going back, so then we all swam back into shore and packed everything up to get ready to leave. "Ava, can you just drop Hunter and I off at my house please?", I asked. "Yeah", she said. The car ride back was really quiet because, we had the radio playing really quiet and nobody said anything the whole way back.
