Chapter 14

Mia's POV

Well it's the last week of school, and I hope that it goes by fast because I just want the summer to be here. It probably will go by fast because Wednesday is our last day this week and today we are just playing games and then tomorrow and Wednesday are for exams, so pretty short week.

I got up and went to my closet and picked out my clothes (picture), and decided since it was the last monday of school, why not wear this shirt? I went to the bathroom and put my hair in a bun with a white bow clipped into it, and then just did my natural makeup as usual. I went downstairs and ate some breakfast and then drove to school.

*10 minutes later*

I made it to school, even though I really don't want to be here at all. But since today was just a fun day I guess it won't be that bad. I saw Ava and I went over to her locker and she said, "we get to pick what we want to do today, so do you just want to say in the hallway and maybe we could FaceTime Brandon or Hunter?". "Yeah that sounds good to me", I said.
Me: Hey what are you and Brandon doing today?
Hunter☺️😏: Well Brandon has school today, but I'm not doing anything. Why? Lol
Me: Ava and I don't have anything to do today, so we were going to FaceTime you and Brandon
Hunter☺️😏: We can FaceTime of you want, it's not like I'm doing anything anyways
Me: Alright I'll FaceTime you when we are able to go do what we want
Hunter☺️😏: Alright talk to you and Ava then
"Ava we can't FaceTime Brandon because he has school today, but we can FaceTime Hunter if you are cool with that", I said not sure if she would be mad at me about it only being Hunter. "Oh yeah I forgot that Brandon goes to school and that Hunter does homeschooling. And yeah I'm fine with just FaceTiming Hunter", she said smiling. Well that was easier than I thought it would be. I thought she was going to reject the idea right away, just because Brandon wasn't able to. "Let's just take attendance and then you guys can go do whatever you want to do for the day, as long as you are still in school properties", my teacher said. He took our attendance and then Ava and I got up and walked to the walkway and I FaceTimed Hunter.
Hunter answered on the second ring and said "Hey Ava, hey Mia". "Hey Hunter", we said at the same time. "How do you guys always do that so good and on perfect timing?", he said laughing. "Two great minds think a like and we're best friends obviously", I said laughing. "Yeah I definitely can tell that you guys are", he said. "Hunter what time does Brandon get out of school today?", Ava said. "He gets out on his normal time, but he has exams all day along with tomorrow", Hunter said. Once Hunter said that Ava seemed to get a little upset, probably because she won't be able to talk to him until tonight. "So what day are you guys done with school?", Hunter asked us. "Wednesday is our last day, thank gosh", Ava said laughing. We talked to Hunter for a couple more hours and then just went on our phones for the rest of the day until we got to go home.
It was a pretty boring day, after school I went home and studied for my exams for the next two days. I'm just ready for school done, only if I could skip finals but that can't happen.

(Skips to Wednesday)
Well today is the last day, and I only have two tests today and then Im leaving school and saying that I have a doctors appointment just so I don't have to stay all day and do nothing. I got up and went to my closet and grabbed a pink tank top, light blue jean shorts, with some white converses. I went to the bathroom and put the clothes on and kept my hair in its natural wave and did natural makeup.
Once I got to school I went to my math class and took the exam, once I was done I went to my science class and took that exam. Both of the exams we're pretty good, and now I am all done with school, thank gosh. I got the rest of my stuff out of locker and then went out to my car and drove home.
I pulled up to the house and saw that my moms car was home. 'Hmm that's weird she's normally not home early like this', I thought to myself. I walked into the house and I heard my mom talking to someone in the kitchen, I wonder who is here
