The Downfall

Alexia's P.O.V:

I'm at headquarters again. In a hospital bed. I still can't believe I'm here, out of all places I can roam.

Unbelievable.

"She fell! Get her a room!" A strong voice says from outside the door. I'm least I'm not alone.

The doctors think I'm mental. I lost my thinking skills.

I make no sense.

I failed this mission.

WE failed.

My hands make their way to my face and I sigh. The first mission I failed. My future as a spy is wrecked. If something's wrong with me... it affects me the rest of my life. I can't afford that, I have to keep fighting. No matter what, I won't join that little child in the 'murder' house.

Or maybe I will...

I won't. I will try to make everything in my power and so I won't have to face that lying 'sister' of mine. even thinking it sound weird. Maybe my real adopted sister... maybe I was the one that didn't belong in that family. I truly belong where my blood is... in a mental hospital.

Right?

Sadie's (Tia) P.O.V:

Oh dear Lord, please help me. All 3 of us are in the hospital. We flunked this mission. Sitting on the bed, I stare at the wall. Posters of skeletons and models of lungs sit nicely on shelves and on the wall.

I haven 't been a patient in a hospital since... i'd rather not remember. I was told Cora is still undergoing surgery. Something rings from beside me. I look near my legs, my phone is ringing. I pick it up.

"Ms.Cullen?" A male voice asks... A voice I truly dread at this moment.

I clear my throat.

"This is she." I tense up.

"This is Mr.Scott, what is up with the mission?"

"I... uh," I sigh. "We have failed sir."

"I know that, what are the details?"

"Cora is currently under surgery, Lexi is... or had, a memory blur and is in the same hospital as I sir."

"So you're all at St.Joe's hospital, what are you doing there if I may ask."

"Uhh.... well there is no point in sitting around doing nothing productive so I thought since everyone is here, I might as well wait." I lie. He can't know the truth. I broke down.

"That doesn't make sense but i'm assuming you don't want to talk about it. Why is Cora is surgery and how did you even manage to get into the hospital, being spies and all I thought you were used to blood loss." he points out. Oh crud... We're screwed. As he said, we should be used to this stuff... but we're not. We're weak and he doesn't even have to ask to know.

"All of us got into some conflict with Cora, and she took matters into her own hands so she went to the barn all alone, and there was this dog. The dog attacked her and she had blood loss, and the bite was infected. I don't know why she's in surgery but I know that when Lexi saw the blood she freaked and had a memory attack." I tense up, waiting for a response. I hear a sigh on the other line.

"I can't believe she couldn't handle a dog bite. She took a bullet for some other spy, she couldn't handle a bite," Now this is new, she never mentioned a bullet before. "I'll send in another group of spies in to finish your mission, I want you girls back at the agency."
