A/N:
Hey guys! I took a long break from writing, and hopefully I will get back into the swing of things. It's almost the end of 2017... Can you believe it?

Coraline's P.O.V:

We were chilling around in the cafeteria, as the other bodies were rushing around, trying to get to class.

"What do you think we are starting with today?" Jayce asked nobody in particular.

"Hopefully we start with combat training," Colton says.

"Wouldn't they start with something easy for the first day? They could start with physical training like... going for a run," Landon commented.

"We could start in a classroom for the first couple of days, so they can see how much we know and how much work they need to put into us," Zoey offered.

"Those are all good ideas, but we are actually going to go into a classroom and you guys will get to know each other. Sound good? After all, you are a team now," says John, walking up to us.

"Hey guys, so my name is Landon Collins. I was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and I used to have a husky."

I have to hand it to John. Getting to know each other is a pretty cool idea.

"I'm Sophia Mason. I love to draw in my free time, which isn't often."

"I'm Zoey Anderson. I was too smart for my academy, so they had to move me to Headquarter's own Academy, right here. I love learning new things!"

"They call me Colton Russell. I absolutely love combat fighting!"

"Umm... I'm Tyler Davis." He takes his hand and runs it through his hair, and looks away.

"Okayyyy," she says, stretching the word awkwardly, "I'm Catherina Young. I like to think I'm very social."

"My name is Jayce Porter," he says while looking at me, "and I like mysteriously beautiful people," he says and smiles in my direction.

I keep a straight face and look away. I will not fall for his charm and be played like any other girl.

"Well... As you all know, my name is Coraline Sparks and I don't like being used. Or dishonest people."

Everyone looks at me with wide eyes. John starts coughing, knowing that there is tension rising here.

"Well... Let's get on with our run!"

I ran at my own pace, which seems to be the pace of everyone else on the team. I was in front of the other seven teens because I don't like communicating... or socializing in general.

"I told you we were gonna go for a run!" Landon remarks.

"But... I was also correct when I mentioned that we were going to go into a classroom, wasn't I?" Zoey scoffs, but partially smiles.

"Umm... no? We didn't learn anything."

"Stop being so serious Lanny. I'm not actually as obnoxious as I seem, I was just trying to imitate cheesy movies for kids our age," Zoey says as she starts laughing. Landon laughs along.
