After all that was said and done, Rick walked towards the tarp he had over his spaceship.
"You probably don't want to, but do you want to come on an adventure? I usually don't do them with, with chicks", he pulled the tarp off with such grace, and opened the passenger door.

I quickly nodded my head, then crawled inside the rustic air craft. Rick ran around to the other side, the quickly hopped in. He glanced at me, and eyed me from top to bottom, "and awayyyyyy we go." He turned the key to start the ship, and then flew into the air.

"Don't you ever worry about the government finding out about all your ideas, and inventions?"

He rolled his head, then focused on his driving, "the government is full of idiots. I-it took them 10ish years to find a guy that blew up a tower, not knowing that the mastermind was the idiot conducting the search. I don't have to worry about them."

We had a huge discussion about politics and shit, and then he pulled up to an odd planet. In a way, it almost resembled earth, but the colours were all wrong. It had to be about 11 o'clock at night. He pulled up to this tall building that was over looking the whole town we landed in.

Rick parked in with all the other vehicles, then went outside, ran around, and opened my door.
"I've been to this planet a few times. This building right here is an art museum. I, uh, have to meet someone, and clear shit up. B-but you seem like the, the artsy type so I thought you might like it", Rick opened the front door of the building for me, then we both walked in.
"Who are you seeing? Will you be long?" I asked.
Rick began to walk up one of the high staircases, and then turned around, "just, uhh, just an old friend, Unity. I shouldn't be too long."
He had a very cold look on his face. It sent a shiver down my spine, he wasn't usually like this around me, maybe around Jerry or Beth, but not me.
I tried to brush off the feeling, and then went exploring. It was odd, the people painted in the portraits, didn't look like people. They were blue, with antennas sticking out from the tops of their heads.

As I walked, the more things I saw drove my mind crazy. The art was so beautiful, and yet no one on earth has managed re recreate such beauty.

At the top of the building, there was a dark area, and a bench by the window.
Looks like someone turned off the lights in this part.
I saw the city lights outside, just by sitting in the bench. Cars drove by in such order and perfection, you didn't hear an angry drunk outside screaming. It was a peaceful little place right there. everything felt perfect.

You would think Rick would be done whatever it was? It's been two hours! Go find him!! The poor bastard might me dead.
I fell asleep on that peaceful bench. I had no idea where Rick was, or what has happened while I was out.
What if he thought you ran away? What if he couldn't fine you? You are a deep a sleeper.
I sprung up from the bench, and then ran downstairs to the staircase where I last saw him. Up the stairs was a closed off area from the museum.
I wonder if that's it? No one else should be in here, it's two in the damn morning.
I ran up the stairs and towards the door, but before I even opened it, I heard noises coming from the inside. They weren't normal, they were, grunts and moans.

I held my breath, and swung the door wide open, and that's where I saw it. Rick, had some alien girl wearing glasses pressed up against a desk. Both of their bodies were sweaty and naked. Rick continued thrusting into the woman vigorously, until he saw my teary eyes.
"Carmen, no!" He yelled, and reached his hand out.
I slammed the door shut behind me, then ran down the stairs, when I got to the bottom I could hear Rick yell once again.
"fuck!" And then I heard a load bang. Almost as if someone had thrown a book shelf onto the ground.

As tears filled my eyes, I ran back to the peaceful bench.
Maybe you can find peace starring at the lights?
