"Carmen are you sure you're okay with staying here by yourself?" Asked Beth. Everyone was in their Sundays best, all ready and prepared to go to Olivia little dinner party.
I nodded my head, "yes." Then watched as everyone left. Outside looked cold and chilly. It started snowing just a few days ago, and because of the whole hour change thing, 3pm was the time when everything got dark. The moonlight shined on the thin layer of snow outside. It was just a perfect time.
I waved goodbye to the family, then Walked into the living room and sat down on the couch. I clicked on the TV, and just prepared my brain to turn to mush. Rick still had his cable crystal plugged in and the only thing good on was about a couple of cats and a dead lady.
After about a half an hour, the boardom was too much to handle. I like TV but there's a limit to how much I can wreck my mind. I decided to get my lazy buns off the couch, and peer out the window towards my house. The windows were so dark I couldn't see a thing, only shadows.. or blurs.
Ugh why are their windows so dark? Don't you want to know what's going on inside? Hmmmmmm Carmen??
Curiosity usually gets the best of me. I put on one of Ricks lab coats, then walked towards the door. The second I opened it, I was instantly hit with a breeze of cold air. I wrapped myself up tight with the coat, then started to walk across the street. About half way there, it hit me,
What am I gonna do the second I get there?
I stood in the middle of the road for about a minute, then began to walk closer to the house. My goal was to get as close as I could, then sit by the window by the dining room. Since it was so dark out, no one will be able to see me.
You're a special kind of stupid, aren't you?
I started to crawl the second I got near the yard. My hands instantly froze becasue of the icy ground. But I was determined. I wanted to know what this bitch was saying to the other family.
Lucky for me, someone had left one of the windows open. It was probably Zen, I know she loves the cold weather. I sat right beside the house and began to listen in to what was going on.
"Beth, why did you drag me along to this? You know I hate this family," Said Rick.
"Dad, just relax. Okay? Carmens from this family and she seems pretty normal,"Said Beth.
"Whatever," replied Rick.
It was small talk for most of it. I heard Olivia fumble with the dishes in the kitchen, and my dad...well... he just stayed quiet. He was no more than a shell of a man.
I heard Olivia bring out the Dinner. She sat closest to the window, I know this because her high heels managed to be the loudest pair around me.
"So, Rick," Said Olivia. "What we're you doing before you moved in with your family?"
Rick huffed, then spoke, "I was just around. That's all."
Once again there was a long awkward silence, until Olivia tried to save the day,
"I know it's always a rocky topic here, but I still want to know, Rick. Why did you take Carmen to that far off bar? Like why not someone fun?"
I could hear Rick slam his fork down,
"Why don't you just drop it?"
"I'm just saying, she can be very forceful. Sometimes it's like she can brainwash someone. Isn't that right Zen?"
I didn't hear anything from my sister. I was astounded that she would go this far to say something about me.
"Wow, I didn't think she was the type to do something like that," Said Beth.
"Do you think we should re think Ricks plan?" Said Jerry.
"What plan?" Asked Olivia.
Jerry screamed in pain. Probably because either Beth, Rick, or summer stomped on his foot.
"So Zen, how are you?" Asked Morty.

I could tell this dinner party was turning into a nightmare. It was silence once again until Olivia said something that changed the mood, "in a way, im glad Carmen is gone. She was nothing but a manipulative waist of space sometimes." heard Rick get up, and slam his hands on the table, "she is NOT like that, you psycho!"
"Dad! Calm down," Said Beth.
"Yes, Rick. After all, she's known Carmen longer than you. Perhaps she's right about this?" Said Jerry.

There was a long pause until Beth spoke up, "wow. Jerry. For once, you could be right."

"Well, what should we do?" Asked Jerry.
"We go home, and re think our plans with Rick. Because I don't want something like that to be apart of our family," Said Beth.
Olivia didn't know what to say. I could tell from her silence that she was confused as hell. I heard everyone pick up their forks, and start eating in silence.
But for me, that's when things started to get colder out. I could no longer feel my hands, and I started to feel really tired.
With the last amount of strength I had, I rushed over to the Smith house. But with my luck, I passed out on their lawn.
