A hop, skip, and a jump... Or should I say, an hour cab ride, a six hour plane flight, and a three hour bus ride and I was there.

When I got to the boarding school, everything was so..fancy. It was an older looking place, but it was huge. If only it was magical, I would say it looked like Hogwarts.

The bus I arrived in was filled with other kids going to the same school, but they all looked snobby. The girl I was sitting next to was chewing bubble gum, and constantly talking on her phone.
This must be the rich kid school.

As the bus pulled to a stop, I looked out the window and saw a sharply dressed woman, holding a ruler, standing at the door.

I didn't want to get trampled by the other kids, so I grabbed what ever luggage I brought, and rushed off the bus.

Everyone soon did the same, and then I was stuck in a cluster of kids.
"ATTENTION!!" Yelled the woman.
She walked up to our cluster, and then commanded us to get into a straight line. She then, walked In front of our line, and eyed us like soldiers. "I am Mrs Sweets. I'm the headmaster of this school. You will be expected to go to class on time, go to lunch on time, and go to bed... On. Time. There will be no visitors OR leaving the campus during or after instructional times."

She stopped at me, and then looked down at my shoes, "are you lady Carmen?"

I turned my head, and then looked back at her sunken blue eyes, "well, I'm a little far from being a lady, but yes."

She threw her ruler to the ground, then snapped, "don't get smart with me, child."
She turned back to the line of students, then spoke once again. "Girls campus is on the left, and boys are on the right. Go find your rooms, then meet back here for lunch." With a wave of her bony hands, she sent us off.

I didn't want to fallow those girls that I was sitting next to, all of them had high voices and short clothing. They were the picture of annoying, but since I didn't know where the hell I was going, I walked with them, but kept my distance.

The girls lead me to a board with everyone's name on them. They all crowned around, and then I heard one of them speak in disgust, "I'm bunk mates with that smart ass Carmen?!" It was the same girl that was sitting next to me on the bus.

Believe me honey, I'm not thrilled either.

I was set up in room 505. My bunk mate, Amber, made it 100% clear the left side was hers. Not that I care, I want to stay the hell away from her, she's borderline crazy.

"I'm going down for lunch. My bags are all set up, DONT MOVE ANYTHING!! AND if I find one thing gone, I'm suing", she shrieked. I put on a fake smile, and then waved goodbye.

In the room, there was one old school brick wall, and a window by a small desk on my side. I placed my bag on my bed, then walked towards the window. I could see the sun starting to set, and the cold autumn air slowly seeping in through the window. We were on the fifth floor. you could see everything from up there, the school, the courtyard, and then my vision went black.
