I walk into school keeping an eye out for Alex. I'm going to try and avoid him today so it's not awkward. I go to my locker and grab my books, just as I turn around he's standing right behind me. "Hey" I say trying to be casual. "Hey, about last night..." He starts but I cut him off "It's fine lets just..." We are interrupted by Kaya, "Hello you too, I heard you hooked up last night?" She says smirking. Alex and I both look at each other shocked. "I don't know where you got that from but we were just hanging out like usual" I say. Alex glares at Kaya, "Well word is spreading around the school, anyway got to go see ya" she winks at Alex and walks away. Alex turns to me "She totally started that rumor" he says "I think so too, but what are we going to do about it?" "I guess just ignore them" he says. I sigh, "Well I'll see ya later, hopefully this blows over soon."
I stare up at the clock, counting the minutes until I get out of humanities, right before the bell rings one of kaya's "minions" sets a note on my desk and walks out of the classroom. I grab it and put it in my pocket grabbing my stuff and going to my locker. Alex is at his so I tell him about the note. " have you read it yet?" He asks " no I'm too afraid" " I'll read it" he says taking the note. I bite my lip as his eyes scan the paper, he looks back up and hands me the note, it says; dєαr rσѕє, αlєх íѕ mínє αnd í wíll hαvє hím. í dσn't knσw whαt hαppєnєd wíth чσu twσ lαѕt níght вut, чσu tσuch hím. чσu pαч.

I look up at Alex, "holy crap" I say, he nods and is starting to look really upset. "She doesn't own you, it's not like your her toy" I say. "yeah but she obviously thinks otherwise."
I get home and decide to call Zoe, she's been on vaca with her family for the past week. I tell her all about Alex and the whole note delema and she eats it up like the usual gossip monster she is. "I have to go but totes keep me updated!" " haha okay bye" I hang up.
I wake up feeling like crap, I get out of bed per my moms request and try to keep myself together for school. I notice Alex talking to kaya and I start walking over when he leans in and kisses her. Tears run down my face as they kiss and I can feel myself breaking inside. I run to the library dropping my books and I go hide in my usual quiet spot. I sit there and sob feeling heartbroken and pissed at the same time. Alex suddenly walks into the library and looks at me very concerned, "what happened rose!?" He asks I just look up at him and then run off not able to look at him any longer.
