Chapter 3

Looking into his eyes made my heart want to explode from happiness. Jason had always told me about when his mate was alive and how amazing it is to have a mate. I never thought I'd find my mate and I finally did. But it just had to be the one who is going to send me to my death....just great! can my life suck anymore.

"No this can't be happening I can't have you as a mate your not an Angel" he said confused.

As his words sunk in I came to the realization that he is gonna reject me. At that thought my heart broke. Silent tear slipped from my eyes I hoped he would not notice. He looked at me sympathetically as he gently put his hand to my cheek and wiped my tears away.

"Just reject me and get it over with,I know you don't want me" I whispered.

"I-I can't your beautiful and I can't hurt you. So I will let you go and I never want to see you again." he said as he turned away and the chains came loose.

"You don't want me though why not reject me and move on with your life?" I asked as I stood up.

"I want you more than anything but it's not possible if anyone found out they'd take you from me and have you killed" he said on the verge of tears.

"I need you though, your my mate, can't you come with me?" I asked with a hint of hope.

"They would know I'm gone and I would become a fallen Angel" he said as he looked into my eyes.

"Please you're my one and only mate and I don't want to be alone for the rest of my eternity" I pleaded.

Before I could even think his warm lips were on mine as he kisses me gently. Our lips moved in unison as his tongue touched my lips for entrance which I gladly gave him. Before I knew it I was push against a wall with my mates body against mine kissing him so passionately I felt weak in the knees.

"So is that a yes?" I asked in a smart ass way.

"Hmm let me think." he said as he kissed my cheek gently like I was glass that would break. "...yes"

I felt as if I could cry because of how happy I was at this moment. I hugged him tightly never wanting to let go and as he hugged me back I knew he'd never leave me. I grabbed his hand And held it happily, "should we get going before the demon kings men find us or something?" I asked as my smile slowly faded I could tell that this would be hard especially with his angel energy giving away so much attention. But where ever we go I will be happy as long as we are together.
