Ian's POV

She was the most amazing girl ever. her voice was like an Angel singing. I know she is a demon but I can't help but to love her already. She is beautiful and I could never hurt her. When I kissed her it was like my whole body had exploded into fireworks I just couldn't get enough of her. When she even came in contact with me I felt tingles on my skin. How did someone like me end up with a girl like her. It was then I realized that this wasn't a fairy tale, she was a fugitive and I was the mercenary. I was sent to capture her and bring her to the demon king. My family needed the money I couldn't disappoint them. it was then I decided what I had to do.

"So is that a yes?" she asked so innocently.

"hmm let me think..." I kiss her cheek gently, "....yes" I say as my voice is just a whisper.

As I was packing up my bag to leave my cell phone rang.

"Hello", I say quickly

"Have you found her yet? " The

demon king asks.

"Yes sir" I say wishing I didn't .

"well than bring her to me, she needs to be disposed of." he said cruelly.

"Yes sir, I will have her to you in 3 days" I said my voice as emotionless as possible.

"You better or your mother and father pay the price for your idiocy" He said as the line went dead

I finish packing my bag quickly and walk into Nicole stand at the window watching the sunrise.

"Come on lets go, we are leaving now" I said not looking at her

"Where are we going? " She asked curiously

"Somewhere now lets go!" I said grabbing her wrist.

"ow! That hurts Ian. " she yelps.

I turn towards her and slap her hard and she falls to the floor.

"Listen I have a job and it's to catch you and bring you back at any costs and if it means giving up my soulmate than let it be, you will never mean anything to me and your are nothing but a monster from hell!" I said nit realizing that my voice had gone from normal to yelling within seconds.

She looks at me with shock and hurt in her beautiful eyes. It hurts me so much to hurt her like this I do love her but I need to be there for my family they need me most and that's what I choose. I look at her again and she is gone.

"Fuck!" I scream pissed as hell. I can't believe she got away. my beautiful soulmate was once again gone....but not for long.

Nicole's POV:

I couldn't believe I trusted him! I thought he cared about me. I was running as fast and demonly possible, I wasn't going to let him turn me in. I will trust no one again and kill anyone who gets in my way. Even if I have to kill Ian I will.

3 months later

I had been training on how to fighting and kill any being possible. I had mastered stakes, throwing knives, bow and arrow, and any weapon that I could except guns. guns are for cowards. I will no longer run or hide I will face whatever fate has in store for me. Even if it means I have to kill Ian. I was in my new appartment throwing knives at a watermelon dummy when I heard a loud bang outside. I immediately went out to see a female vampire feeding off a dude my age. I run in and grab my stake and slowly creep behind them. I accidentally step on a glass bottle and cut myself and thanks to the blood on it, the vampire turned around and the guy dropped to the ground weak but alive. I am staring into the eyes of this vampire unable to control my body as she walks closer to me, step by step.Then the unthinkable happens she bites me, yes it's possible for a vampire to drink a demons blood it makes them even stronger. I can't even scream because her venom is paralyzing my vocal chords. Then darkness. I finally woke up groggy and in a damn hospital. Then I here a voice.

"Two open wounds on here neck bleeding profusely",a female voice says.

I try to open my eyes but am blinded by a bright light. I open them slowly to adjust to the lighting. I see two people standing around me and them covering up my neck and putting a needle in me and then darkness again.
