"Who are you?" All three boys stare at me in confusion.

I stutter, "I-I uhm, I work for Mr Connors."

The boy wearing a Black Singlet and brown shorts speaks up, "Here? In his house?"

"Yes, I'm his personal assistant." I say.

The last boy in a black hoodie and black skinny jeans walks closer to me with a flirty smile on his lips, "Oh well, if you're free, maybe i can take you out." He says ending with a wink. I give him an uninterested look.

"Sorry, she's not free so she's gonna have to turn down that offer." I look back to see Slade walk in. He stands in front of me, blocking my view from the boys. He turns sideways to glance at me.

"Go finish off that sandwhich you were making. I'll handle this." He says with assurance in his voice. I back out of the main rest room and walk into the kitchen. Once i'm in the kitchen, i start smiling like a freak.

As i was making my sandwhich, the first boy who spoke to me walks in. I turn around to face him with ham in one hand and a piece of sliced bread in the other. The boy puts out his hand for me to shake.

"My name's Tremaine. What's yours?" Now i remember this guy, he was one of Slades friends back in High School. He talked to me when i just had an arguement with Gina. I put the food down on the bench and wipe my hands with the hand towel. I take his hand in mine.

"My name's Amara." I say hesitantly. I didn't want them to know me, yet. I stop shaking his hand and i back away.

"You look familiar." He says slowly. I look down, not making eye contact with him incase he might recognise me.

"Yea well until you figure out whatever you're thinking about, I'm going to finish off these sandwhichs. I don't want to be late now, do I?" I turn around hoping he would just leave me alone but luck was not on my side. He takes another slice of bread and makes another chicken sandwhich.

"You don't need to help me, sir." I tell him. He doesn't stop though.

"But i want to." He adds. He's sweet. "And don't call me sir, you're working for Slade not me so Tremaine would be fine." He grins.

I smile, "okay Tremaine." He chuckles and continues making his sandwhichs.

3 months have passed and i'm already a professional at what i do. The past three months have been great and not so great. The great part is that I'm making enough money from this job to help my mother pay for our needs and to give to my father for whatever he wants to do with it. I've also became good friends with Tremaine and Sage, yet Sage is still the player but not so much now that we have gone close. Their other friend Richard doesn't talk much. Richard is their other best friend since high school. He wasn't there for the Gina arguement but I knew him from around school for being best friends with Slade. We talk but hardly ever because he avoids me and I don't know why. I can so tell he doesn't like me. He always seems angry. Oh and I love my job because I get to be with Slade everyday. The not so great part is Slade's girlfriend. She's always around and I'm starting to think she likes him for his money and i can't believe Slade can't see that. When she's here, she's always getting what she wants, from clothes and shoes to a pool in her backyard. Ugh! That money hungry two faced bitc-

"Amara!"

"Aaahh!!" I jump at the sudden scream in my ear and i quickly turn around, with my fist clenched and punch the person behind me. The sound of a groan was heard. I look to the person lying on the ground clutching her nose.
