The After Games

The Hunter

As I wake up,I notice that Faye is gone,"Where's Faye?" I ask Jadyn. "What?" She says tiredly. Then I notice she just woke up, "What do you mean you don't know?" I ask her. "The last times I saw her was before we went to sleep!" Jadyn replies.

"I'm STARVING!" Jadyn whines. So we cautiously climb down the tree and walk around a bush. I inspect it cause they look familiar but I don't know what from.

Without asking me, Jadyn popped it in her mouth and swallowed it. "Pretty good!" She tells me.

We wait for the food to desolve just to make sure it's safe, then we dig in.

The berry juice is all over us, when we were done eating, the clouds start to come in. "Boom," rain is suddenly everywhere and me and Jadyn run for cover.

It goes on for 15 minutes, then we hear an odd sound. It's like a scream or something. We turn behind us, and we hear a bomb go off.

There is Faye, behind us, with a pick axe, "Your next,"she says as she starts to run towards us.

"RUNNNNN!!!!!!" I yell as Faye is gaining on us. Jadyn pulls me to the side just in time before Faye gets us, we run towards the swamps. We immediately go under not knowing what is under the water.

I hear something tickle my leg, "Jadyn stop it!" I say panicked.

"That wasn't me!" She says. We both look at each other then scream.

A head pops out of the water and we realize its an alligator.

Faye is to the right of us waiting at the waters edge, and the alligator is to the left of us, so we go forward, and run like the wind!

Then a voice appears out of nowhere and says,"There is now only 10 of you enjoy! And FIGHT TO THE DEALTH!" He says encouraging.

Me and Jadyn don't pay attention to that all we are worried about getting out of Faye's reach, it looks like she isn't as good as Jadyn said.

We hear a boy scream off into the distance, I really hope it's not Travis, then out of nowhere, a small shrimpy boy appears. I think it's Addison. He has a nasty grin on his face, his teeth full of blood, don't know what he's been through!

"Think your last thoughts while you can!" He says as a bow and arrow is flying toward us, before I know it I black out.....
