Chapter 22- Follow The Sound

~Mavis~

In the cave, me and Travis thought this would be the end for us because there was a bomb about to go off, and the only way out was to go back to the melted arena. And that was NOT gonna happen. Unless........ No that would never work. But just maybe. "Do you think that we could find and disable the bomb?"

"Remember in our training we were trained to follow the source of the sound? Maybe we could do that." He suggested. It was our only hope of survival so I silently nodded and we began following the noise frantically. We finally located the bomb and discovered it was in a super disguised door that you could only see if you were looking for it. The bomb was concealed in there. It only had 20 seconds to disable it. "What do we do?"

"Remember in every movie with bombs you have to cut the red wire?" Travis said.

"But there is no red wire!" I yelled frustrated. The wires were all the same color. Plain gray.

This is it. Our lives are being cut short. All of the memories of being with my family, and friends. My whole life was flashing before my eyes.

Then I remembered what my mom and dad told Travis and I when I was just 5 years old. "Everything in life is a test Mavis." My dad said. "Pass it.
