Road Trip

Andy's POV

It's been settled. Jinxx and I have made a plan. We will search every night till 10 p.m., longer if we have some sort of lead, and then head back. And tonight is the first night we will search for Amber. As I was walking out to my car, with Jinxx trailing behind, I started to wonder where he could have taken her. We don't exactly have hide-aways or any specific spots that will be good for this situation. This isn't even a town we tour in, although we tour in the state, so there isn't really anywhere distinct. "Ay Jinxx, do have any idea where they could be?" I ask. Jinxx has always been one of the smart, somewhat motherly members of the group. "To be honest, not really." He says, damn, if he is lost for ideas then this will take longer than I thought. We reach my car and Jinxx goes to the passenger side while I climb in the drivers side. Jinxx gets in and I start the car and pull out of the driveway. Jinxx turns around and looks at the backseats weirdly, like he's studying them. "What are you doing?" I ask. "I could've sworn I heard something back there." He responded, without turning back to look at me. "Jinxx, I probably ran over a twig or something, stop being so paranoid." I told him. He hesitantly turned back around before I was the one who heard a sound. I pulled over and Jinxx and I looked at the backseat. Nothing seemed to be there, so I don't know what could possibly- "SURPRISE!" Someone yelled. Me and Jinxx both yelled and then we got a look at who yelled that. It was CC, with a blanket falling off his head. Why am I surprised, this is CC, he does this regularly. "I wanted to come along, and you're taking me." He said while climbing from the trunk to the backseats. He sounded like a 5 year old trying to get his way, but there was no arguing with CC. "Fine, you little shit, just hurry up and sit down." Jinxx said, obviously still trying to catch his breath. After CC got seated, I started to drive again. "Don't worry, I wont be as useless as you think, I actually have a pretty good idea of where Ashley went." CC said. He sounded serious, yet his trademark smile never left his face. "Oh really, and where might that be?" I asked, trying not to get my hopes up since CC could just say something stupid. "The old house, remember, the one we all used to live in together?" CC said. "Oh my God, I didn't even think of that place, let's go there first. Whaddya say, Andy?" Jinxx said. The house was a perfect place, how could I have not thought of it? "Alright, the house it is." I responded. CC and Jinxx started cheering while I drove to the house.
