This couldn't be happening. Stuff like that didn't happen to me. No it's not that bad, right? Wrong. I will mess up.

"Oh my god, Lauren. Imprinting isn't a bad thing. It's not weak. And it's nothing that you can change. You should be happy you found the person you're meant to spend your life with.", Dinah said kind of...annoyed?

" It's not that Dinah. I'm stressing out. I'm gonna mess up. And she will have an unnormal power over me, and I don't like that."

"You totally overimagine. It's really good having your mate. I promise. You're complete now.", I Allys caring voice heared.

Their discussion was going on while my eyes wandered to look at her. She was the most beautiful human being I've ever seen. A feeling of love spread through me. I stood up and went over to her desk, totally ignoring the ongoing conversation my friends were having. But with my first steps towards her, I heard them stop talking.

She was waiting at the food-line as I approached her. Seemingly at the perfect time, cause just as I stood behind her, she pushed her tray further, looking at the food behind the glass. Fast with my reflexes I grabbed around her, holding her arm while saying "Watch out!", just before her tray would hit the boys beside her. The skin where my hand touched her arm suddenly warmed up really fast. Again everything around us was a blur and all I saw was her. I couldn' take my eyes off of her and I got goosebumbs. One look at her told me she felt the same, just that she didn't know what it meant. She looked at me startled, her eyes widened, not getting what just happened.

"Oh, I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you.", I said. It seemed to dawn to her why I did this and she softly shook her head.

"Oh no! I'm sorry this was my fault. I was just looking at the food, trying to figure out what they have. I'm still not really oriented here. I'm new."

"Yeah I know. No need to be sorry nothing happend. My name's Lauren."

"Thanks to you, Lauren. I'm Camila." Hearing her say my name made me shiver. It sounded melodic. I closed my eyes for a secod.

"Nice to meet you Camila.", I said, still staring at her. Suddenly I blinked, realizing that staring at her like this was probably really weird. Especially due the fact that she had no idea what connected us. She looked kind of intimidated already, so I blinked looking elsewhere.

"Well I have to go now.", I heared me saying really harsh and mentally slapped myself. That was really weird. I probably scared her. Probs Lauren, well done.

I walked to the table again and everybodys eyes lay on me. They were expecting me to say something, when I didn't Ally asked. "Lauren is everything okay? What happened. You suddenly just walked away, without saying anything."

" I don't want to talk about it.", I stated.

"Uh Lauren you ALREADY messed up? HAha probs.", I heared Dinah joke. But I wasn't in the mood for joking. I dropped my food, turned my whole body towards her, looking down on her a growl coming out of my throat, making her duck her head and looking away threatened. I huffed and turned my attention back to my food. Everyone stayed silent now, nobody saying a word to me. After a while they started picking up their conversation again.

I was lost in my thoughts, staring at the table in front of me. I was mad. I was angry with myself for messing up. I didn't want to let that happen again. Maybe it was best if I'd just stay away from her. She wouldn't understand, and also she's not a wolf, so I'm not gonna tell her. At least not any time soon. Well I knew I could be really intimidating at first, so maybe I should just ignore her or not be nice. Maybe if she was frightened of me she'd stay away. Maybe it would be the best. Well I'm not stupid and I know that this isn't the right way to handle things and I knew that it wouldn't work, because staying away from your mate and being mean to them was just not possible, so i realized that I couldn't do that. But I didn't wanna hurt her and in my eyes, this was gonna happen if we'd get to know each other. In my eyes having a mate wasn't awesome, it was intimidating me, because I didn't know what to do.
