New Girl

My boring english class was finally over. As soon as the bell rang I stand up and walk out. I can't take this. It's so boring and being in a room for so long just sitting makes me nervous. I feel the wolf in me wanting to move. Run. Jump....hunt...maybe? I wasn't to sure about that point, but I sure knew that he wanted to move. So instead of casually walking to my next class, I jogged. Yeah I know that's not much, but for now, it was the best I could get. A few people looked at me like I was crazy, but nobody bothered. I was pretty popular at my school. Not like, eveybody was friends me and that stuff, but, you know, if you asked somebody who I was, everybody could tell you. Let's not say popular, more like a legend. I'm the girl that no one can reach, that was always with her group of friends, obviously being their leader, the one that was strong and good at everything, unreal, the one you wanted to be friends with , but obviously wasn't in a high enough position, maybe some would say the one you're jealous of. I was the mysterious beauty, my rank was pretty high, being unreachable. I'm just the perfect leader. And I should be, due to the fact that I was the born alpha.

Too soon I was at my classroom, and I had to sit again. I was so annoyed and I couldn't even tell why. I was just pissed since this morning. Really hard trying to ignore this mood, I listen to the teacher. This teacher was one of my least favourite. He was talking the whole time, rambling about everything and nothing. Eventually this class was over too. A slight relief washed over me, when I realized that Dinah was in my next class too and I had someone to talk too. In most of my other classes the seat next to mine was empty. Also I didn't know most of the people in my classes and didn't like talking to other than my friends more than I have to.

On the way to this class I met up with the tall girl.

"hey Dawg, 'sup?"

"I'm fucking bored out of my fuckin brain.", i sighed with a eyeroll.

"Well it's about to get HELLA down here!"

"Dinah we're in school nothing gonna go down except for math.", I laughed

"Doesn't matter being around me is always fun."

Shot her a smile I said "Got a point there."

She nodded satisfied. We arrived to our classroom and yet another boring class went by. Well it actually wasn't as bad since Dinah was there. But it felt like something was missing. For the hundreth time today I sighed.  The bell rang and I closed my eyes happily at the sound. Lunch time. My favourite time here. I quickly packed my bag and stood up, storming out the door, totally forgetting about Dinah. Suddenly my eyes widen, remembering her.

"Oh my god Dinah I'm sorry. I totally forgot you!"

She just laughed "Yeah I saw that Laur."

"I'm really sorry, I'm just sick of sitting in this room."

"I feel you. Well what are we waiting for? Let's goooo", she said and went towards the lunch-hall with an enthusiastic head nod. I smiled and followed her. On our way through the hall a few people looked our way, some others wispered, and some stupid boys winked our way, which made me roll my eyes at everyone of them. As if I would go out with some boy from this school. Pffft. Especially when they think, giving me a wink would make me like them. I could smell Ally before I saw her approaching us.

"Hey Ally."

"Oh hey smalls, wassup?", Dinah said

"Nothing much, what about you?"

I answered " We are making our way to lunch as fast as possible. I'm sick of these classrooms already."

"Okay cool. I'm really hungry." the short girl mumbled.

We finally get to the lunch room and seat ourselves at our usual table, sitting just in our little group.     "He Ally, where's Troy?", I ask her about our other packmember. Ally has imprinted on the tall guy a while ago.  We are a pack of seven at the moment. It was me, as their leader, Dinah and Cameron, as our Bethas, also Nash as our Omega, which if you ak me is a really important role, since some fights would escalate bad, if he wouldn't sooth the situations, and Troy , Ally and Bea.

"Here I am", I hear Troys voice. Cameron and Nash didn't go to school anymore, and Bea's parents died, so she had lived in the woods for a pretty long time. She has no interest in going to school and I won't drag her to anything. That's not the kind of Alpha I was.

We sit some time talking about this and that and I enjoy my meal, being happy not to sit in this classrooms anymore, which always seem to shrump more and more as longer as you're in there.

Suddenly something tells me to put up my head and look towards the entrance, when I freeze in the spot, not even breathing anymore, as I see her. She walks in, looking around, obviously disoriented. Her long brown hair shines in the sun and her eyes have a soothing, comfortable chocolate colour. I can smell her, oh so nice, smell from the other side of the hall. Her slender body, with her long legs, pushed past some students. From this angle, the light shone perfectly on her, making shadows appear on all the right spots. Everything around her went to a blur and nothing else seemed important anymore. Nothing would ever again be more important than to protect her. It felt as if I was complete. My other half was there, and there would never be sad or bad days as long as I was with her and knew she was save. All my needs would come after hers. She would come before everything else and she would be the only one that was able to really hurt me. A certain importance came over me, as light as a feather, not heavy or pressuring.My life made sense now that she was there.  I would do everything for her, be anything she needed, read every wish from her lips.

I blinked and looked around me confused, crashing in reality again. "What THE HELL just happened?", I wisper yelled.

"Oh My god Lauren! You totally just zoned out. Is everything okay?", Ally asked concerned.

"What the fuck?! NO!", I yelled at her. As soon as I saw her wince I regretted it. I don't know what got into me. I think I was afraid of messing up, of the power that drove me towards her, the power SHE had over me now. " Okay Ally. Look I'm sorry i didn't mean to...ugh... what...I just."I shook my head.

"It's okay Lauren. I think I know what happend.", the girl said caring. I just blantly stared at her. I couldn't believe what was happening. Ally and Troy were the only one till now who....

"You just imprinted."

what's up? I hope you like what I did yet. I feel like these chapters were a little short. I actually wanted to write along here, but the ending was just perfect for the end of a chapter.

I'll try make the next chapters longer. Promise ; )
