(Ugh, sorry guys. This chapter is rough ><)"No no. He's not that intimidating," I chuckled to trooper JB-007.
"You know he choked FN-648 to death last night, right?" he shook his head.
"Yikes," I hissed, biting into the loaf of bread in my hand. "That's rough."
"He's terrifying."
"Eh," I chewed. "Sometimes."
"I think you know him better than anyone else on this ship," he scoffed, clicking his helmet back onto his suit. "And you're not afraid of him."
I didn't reply, looking out into the room full of storm troopers all having their dinner.
"JB-007," a muffled voice broke the air. I looked over to the soldier as he clicked a button on his arm.
"Yes, sir."
"Bring the girl to floor 27."
"Right away sir."
"What now?!" I groaned, finishing my dinner. "I can't catch a fucking break."
"Bet he has a crush on you," he teased.
I burst into a fit of laughter then. "Yeah. Right. That man is incapable of feeling anything but anger and fucking angst. No thank you."
We got up, making our way to the elevators to go up to Kylo's room. The ride there seemed to go on forever, neither of us speaking much at all.
"Don't you think you should change, Princess?"
He was referring to my skin tight black pants and tank top showing off the top part of my cleavage.
"I mean, I don't mind but I don't know what the dark lord might do seeing you like this."
I turned around, slapping him hard on his padded shoulder, "Don't toy with me, soldier." I chuckled.
The doors opened and he followed me out into the hallway.
"Hey, I'm just looking out for you."
"I could honestly care less," I laughed. "I doubt he would even know what to do with it."
He let out a light chuckle, shaking his head. "Whatever you say, Princess."
"You don't have to be so formal, you know," I rose a brow at him, slowing my steps. "Not with me at least. You can call me by my name."
"Sorry, miss. That's not really in my programming. I'd rather be formal."
"Suit yourself."
We reached his door not too long afterwards, JB-007 buzzing in before entering. We stood by the door as it closed behind us. Kylo was sitting in the distance with his back towards us, him helmet off and his naked fingers running through his long, dark hair.
"Leave her," he spoke. "You're dismissed."
He only nodded, patting me on the shoulder before leaving his room silently.
I didn't dare move, I stood there frozen for awhile eliminating all thoughts in case he was listening. The only thought I couldn't break from my mind was why had he asked me here? I focused on the back of his flowing hair, wondering how soft it might be to touch. Replacing the sight of his fingers to the image of my own, raking their way through his thick mane.
I cleared my throat, my face fuming red. That is absolutely disgusting, why was I thinking such thoughts?
"Stop thinking so loudly," he murmured into his palms, barely moving an inch since I had been standing here. This made my face grow hotter, most definitely crimson red at his words.
He rose from his seat, slowly trudging his way closer to me. I felt his aura grow stronger the closer he got. It's like the air surrounding him was denser and darker than what it should be. His face was hard and solemn staring at me, and I didn't hesitate to shoot him a dirty look in response.
"Good evening, Ren," I grumbled. "Lovely to see you again."
"I must speak with you," he said, his shadow looming over me in the dimly lit room.
"Well, I would've assumed," I sighed. "Since you interrupted my dinner for this, I'm sure it's real important."
"Why do you not respect me?" he questioned, furrowing his brows at me. "Why do you not fear me?"
"I've spent enough time with you, Mr. Fear. My fear wore off long ago," I crossed my arms over my chest. "And it's not that I don't respect you..."
I flashed my eyes to his face and noticed his nearly black irises set on- no not my face, but a little lower than that.
I cleared my throat, "My face is up here, big boy."
His face filled fuming red and he pressed a fist to his lips. Clearing his throat, he spun around, taking a few steps away from me. "We will be landing on Abafar tomorrow morning to begin your training. I think it best for you to stay in this room for the remainder of the month. Supreme Leader Snoke has commanded I keep a close watch on you and says it would be best to stay close until you have earned trust."
"Excuse me? What the hell do you mean 'training'? Training for what?" I spat out.
Kylo turned, taking a slow step towards me. His face look almost amused as those sparkling brown eyes bore into mine, "To become my apprentice, of course."
