Chapter Begins:

I laid down and popped my ear buds in. I stared at the ceiling fan while waiting for my song to start. 

Gold up in my, gold up in my teeth..

I closed my eyes and remembered all the memories with....you.

I glared at Marco as he agreed with all the words his friends said about me.  "Seriously though, look at her hair, what even? ha ha." this one blonde girl said. He laughed and nodded. "I know right? It's so dry and dead." I rolled my eyes.

I missed you in the basement..

I tapped my foot impatiently in Marco's basement, waiting for him to come home. He said he'll be here at 2, and its now 2:45.. I think I'll just go..

But your brother was a good substitute for you..

As I was about to leave, I heard footsteps coming down the stairs. "Finally you're- oh..Its you." It was Marco's brother.  "Hey, Marco called and he said to keep you company while he's gone." He said. "He'll come back at 5." I rolled my eyes and nodded. I sat down and he sat next to me and talked.

"Marco listen... I don't think this is working out.." I looked at him. His face dropped and it looked like he was about to cry. He took his hands and held mine and pulled me closer. He kissed me passionately. "No....please don't leave me...I love you so much..I'd die without you." He sniffled. A few minutes passed with him begging me to stay and I finally nodded. "Ok..I'll stay." 

If the roof is on fire, you never let me know..

I was taking a nap. I then smelt smoke and heard the ire alarm. I got up quickly and looked around. I opened the door to see fire. I closed it immediately. Freaking out I then heard a knock on my window. I saw a fireman outside. I quickly ran to it and he pulled me out to safety. The cause of the fire was a stove left turned on. I then saw Marco sitting outside, completely unharmed.

"What's this?" I held up Marco's phone and it was a text between him and his friend Jean. 

Jean: She's ugly.

Marco: Who?

Jean: You're gf

Marco: meh.

He looked at it and took it back. "Sorry, Hun." and he went back to playing video games.

I sighed as I sat down on the couch. Marco took me out to someone's party and I dont even know who this house is of..  I dont know where marco is.. I got up and went to find marco. There he was..surrounded by people. I tried to get his attention but it didnt work. I sighed again and grabbed my stuff and some food and went home.

"Without ever letting you know" I whisper-sang. I carefully got up and tried my hardest not to wake marco up. I grabbed a suitcase and packed my clothes and my important stuff. I then looked at marco, who was sleeping peacefully. My eyes teared up and I leaned down and place a kiss on his lips for the last time. "Im sorry.." I whispered. Then I left without another word.
