Eren x reader: hand to hand combat

Eren p.o.v

I was in the boys barracks. I was about to head to the mess hall, when Armin came up to me. "Hey Eren."

"Hey Armin, during training, do you want to be my sparring partner?" I asked. I like asking ahead so I won't be left out during the actual training.

"Oh, sorry, I can't, I'm already partners with Jean." He looked at me disappointedly.

"Dang it, horseface." I chuckled, "well thanks anyways." I smiled at him, and he nodded his head and we parted different ways.

When I walked into the mess hall, the first person who caught my eye was (y/n). Her (h/l) (h/c) hair wasn't tied up today. I sighed, and walked past her to get my breakfast. I sat at a table with Mikasa, Sasha, and Jean. "Oi, Eren who are you being partners with for sparring?" Jean smirked.

"I was going to be partners with Armin but it looks like you beat me to it." I hissed. "So.. Mikasa?"

"Sorry, already partners with Sasha" she said bluntly. I sighed. Since Sasha is with Mikasa, then there is no point in asking her.

"Well, I guess we'll see when we are there." I continued to eat.

-time skip to training-

"Alright cadets! We are doing sparring first thing! I want you to find a partner, and pair up!" Keith yelled. I looked around and saw everyone beside a partner. Armin with Jean, Mikasa and Sasha, Connie and Marco, Reiner and Bertholdt, Ymir and Krista, Annie. Well she wasn't even there. But where's (y/n)? I looked at everyone's pair when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around.

"Let's go." (Y/n) had no emotion on her face. And go? Go where? She started walking, and I followed.

"Where are we going?" I asked. We were walking farther from the training grounds and more into a a small forest on a hill.

"Would you stop complaining and just keep walking?" She hissed, I could feel her roll her eyes and she probably did.

"Complaining?" I whispered to myself. I just kept on following her, until we stopped at a clearing. "(Y/n)? What are we-" I was cut off when she turned around and grabbed my arm and elbowed my side. She turned to her back and use the back of her foot to trip me. I fell down and she knelt down to my level with one knee on my chest, and she suddenly had the wooden dagger we use for sparring, centimetres from stabbing my throat. "W-what. Are y-you. D-do, d-doing?!" I chocked out.

"We are sparring partners aren't we?" She asked. I could see a smirk forming on her lips. I can't believe it! She sneak attacked me. What just happened? She pulled back the dagger and removed her knee. She got up, and held out a hand. I looked up at her. She is way to pretty. Those (e/c) orbs are just perfect, her smooth silky (h/c) gently dancing in the wind. And man, was she good at hand to hand combat, 3DMG and slicing the nape of the neck. I love her. Even though she is stubborn, I still loved her. But, I don't think she shares the same feelings for me. I grabbed her hand and she helped me up, when I felt her lips crash into mine. I was shocked. But then I melted into the kiss.

*your p.o.v*

I helped Eren up, and pulled him towards me when I kissed him. It didn't take long for him to melt into the kiss. We stayed like this for a minute when we had to pull away for air. We were both panting. He looked at me confused, but happy. "W-why. Why, d-did you. K-kiss me?" Eren panted in between breaths. Why? Because I love him.

"Why did you kiss back?" I asked him. He smirked.

"Because I love you, (y/n)."

"And that's," I slowly walked closer to him. "Also the same," I put my hand on his chest. Feeling his toned chest underneath his shirt. "Reason why I kissed you." I smirked. I looked up to the tall brunette. He smiled, and leaned in. I did the same. Our lips just centimetres apart. "I love you" was the only thing I said before kissing him. I smiled into the kiss and he did the same. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he put his hands on my waist pulling me closer.

We became a couple that day. Who knew that hand to hand combat could bring two people together?
