Abby's POV---------
Today has been slightly overwhelming. It was now eleven in the morning, and we had just recently gotten home. Exiting the limo Clay was in front of me. He held his hand out and I took it, a small tingle spreading across my fingers as he touched. No that wasn't okay, I had Cody.
I immediatly let go of his hand once I got out taking Cody's as he walked past me, falling into step with him. He looked down smiling at me and I returned it. Once inside we all sat down in the living room. I sat in a bean bag near the entry way. Tessa and June had both been picked up and Cody's driver was on his way. When his driver got to the door Cody instantly pulled me into a hug.
"I'll be back tomorrow" he told me. I nodded smiling as he got into the car leaving with a wave. I shut the door and turned back into the living room. Clay was slouched over on the couch with his head in his hands.
"Clay?" I asked sitting beside him and rubbing soothing circles into his back. "Please talk to me, Clay, what's wrong?" I felt him tremble as he looked up from his hands. His eyes were clouded and red. His cheeks were damp from tears he tried to smear away. "Oh Clay" I sighed pulling him in for a hug. He trembled as he let out a shaky breath once again. He pulled me onto his lap as I wrapped my arms around his neck. Why did he always seem so upset around me? He looked up from my shoulder. "Deep breath," I told him. He complied, taking a dramatic breath.
Clay's POV-----------------------
I kept having to remind myself I couldn't just take her like I normally do. It would scare her. As much as she thinks she remembers she doesn't remember properly. Sitting here, with her arms wrapped around me was really nice. I was comforted purely by the sound of her voice. I was about to ask her what she remembered happening but Britney came in with hot cocoa.

We ended up watching a movie, having lunch, and continuing our movie marathon. I didn't know whether she felt it or not, but there was some sort of awkward tension between us. Why? She stood up quickly after a movie.
"I'm going to hang out in my room for a bit, going to bed soon," She said. She grabbed her blanket, and came over to me, kissing my cheek before making her way up the stairs. Usually I would follow but this time, I didn't even turn my head as she left. Pulling my phone out as it vibrated I realised it was only 8:22 pm. It was too early for bed. My phone vibrated once again and I opened my recent messages.

Cody: Hey, um was Abby being... weird?

I quickly ran up the stairs, making sure I was silent as I neared her room. I stood outside her door as I heard her speak.
"I love you too, Cody" pause. I heard her sigh from the other side of the door. "uh sure"
She stopped talking for a little while so I knocked on her door.
"It's open" She called. I stepped in seeing she sat on her bed, her phone still pressed to her ear. "Yeah, would you? Britney's already said it's fine if you spend the night. Thank you so much Codes. Seriously?" She smiled shaking her head. "Suprise me, oh he's right here, yeah I can ask." She pulled the phone down pressing the speaker area into her neck.
"Codes is bringing ice cream on his way over, what do you want?" She asked.
"Uh, vanilla" I said, slightly taken-a-back by the question. She brought the phone back to her ear, repeating my answer for Cody.
"Okay," She smiled. "I'll be waiting at the door, fine, drive safe" She said before hanging up. She looked at me, innocently. "What's up?"
"Why is he coming over?" I asked. I didn't mean to sound harsh, but my girlfriend was inviting another guy over to spend the night. She looked at her hands in her lap.
"I was worried about having nightmares. I just wanted to talk to him, but when he asked if it would make me feel better to have him come over, I started crying and I said yes." She looked up at me with watery eyes. "I'm sorry Clay" She said. I sat down beside her, wrapping my arm around her as she cuddled into my side.
"Don't be sorry, princess, I just want you to be comfortable talking to me..." I trailed off. I hope she was comfortable talking to me, I thought. She hugged me as I sat there confused.
"Thank you, Clay" She said. Oh my, what is this hole I've fallen into?
