My Best Friend's Father is My Mate

Chapter 11

"She is in danger!! Find her." Rosanna growls. She brings me back to reality and my blood bowls. "They are not going to harm one hair on her head. If they do I will rip their head off." I growl in reply. I hear Rosanna howl in agreement in my head. I have to find her and fast. I let Rosanna share control with me of my body. We take off running toward where my senses are leading me. I take a large breath trying to track down her scent. i easily find it and go running full speed towards it. My legs burn at the speed i am going but i push through it. Her scent leads me towards the woods that lead to the boarder. I starting pick up on the smell of Rogues. "They don't give up do they?" i can feel Rosanna shake her head. I keep running. i have to catch up and fast before they get too fare away. 

I keep running as fast as I can. I could feel my body glide through the air. I can sense the Alpha and his warriors are trying to follow me. They can't catch me. If they do i might not make it. I know it is risky but i am not fast enough in this form. I jump and shift into my wolf form. My white fur envelopes my body. MY paws hit the ground and i take off faster than every. I soon loose the Wolves behind me. I focus the wolves in front of me. I can smell five different rogues mingled with skylar's scent. I can feel I'm getting close to the rogues. "Let's shoe them what happens when you cross us." Rosanna growls. i bare my teeth. The trees start to thin out and I see blurred figures ahead so I slow down. Skylar's father isn't too fare behind me so i decide to go for it and attack.  I see five men in front of me. The biggest one has something thrown over his shoulder. I squint my eyes and notice Skylar's unconscious body in thrown over the big Guy's shoulder. I let out a loud growl at the sight of this. They all stop at turn around. I jump through the trees into the clearing they are running through. i charge at the one holding skylar. They quicker she is away from them the better. they all try to run but i am faster. I easily sink my teeth into the on holding Skylar calf. Blood rushes into my mouth and it is destructing. I want to let go but i don't i just sink my teeth in further. I hear him drop Skylar and let out a growl. I jump back just in time to miss one of his associates attempt to punch me. I let the anger flow out of me. I stare them in the eyes. back up enough so i can see all five of them. I can hear the paws of the pack behind me coming closer but they aren't close enough. I guess i get the privilege of dealing with these maggots. "Kill her!" The big guy i just sank my teeth into yells out. All five men shift and charge at me.

I squat down and jump over all five wolves to where Skylar is. I kneel down and growl at them to stay away. i nudge her with my snout and She mumbles a little. i see her starting to wake up but whatever made her sleep is keeping her there. The wolves finally figure out what I did and turned around headed towards me again. I take off toward them making sure i stay between them and Skylar. 

When I get close to them, I roll to the right. I reach out my claws and slice through the wolf's side that is closest to me. He howls in pain and collapses to the ground. I get back into my feet ready for the other four. A brown wolf with matted fur runs at me and tries to bite my thigh. I anticipate his move and jump out of the way. I don't know if i can take on all them at the same time. I just have to keep them away from Skylar long enough for her pack to come. 

They all charge at me at once. One take a swipe and me and the other tried to sink his teeth into my abdomen. I duck down missing the wolf's claws, then I rack my claw into the other wolf's neck before he can get this teeth into me. The wolf i just claw  howls in pain. As quick as i can i move away from them. Distance is key to staying alive. I could take them all out if i use my other powers but that is too much of a risky. They have already seen my wolf form. They might just shake that off but seeing me use those powers is out of the question. 

The biggest wolf that was holding Skylar just moments ago charges at me. I growl and get into an attack position. He runs fulls speed at me. he leaps up to pin me but i have trained to be agile i role to the right and spin, catching him with my back legs sending him flying into a tree. I go to jump on top of him but I am hit by a brown blur. I land on the ground so hard the wind is knocked out of me. I'm half way up when I feel a searing pain in my back leg. I howl out in pain and look to see the big wolf sinking his teeth into my leg. "You are dead meat." Rosanna is fed up with him and so am i. 

The other two wolves start to run over to me. I clamp my jaw down on the one sinking his teeth into my leg. He lets go in pain and i quickly move but not fast enough, one of the other rogues sinks his teeth in my neck. I try to shake him off but he just sinks his teeth in more. I start to feel like it is hopeless when i hear a howl and the wright of the wolf on top of me is gone. I collapse to the ground and look to see what happened. I look to my right to see the most gorgeous pure black wolf i have ever seen. It is huge. My whole body is throbbing in pain but i ignore it. There is still a battle going on. With the rogues attention on the Large Black wolf, I look for skylar. I see one of the rogues headed for her. With all the energy i can muster , I run towards her. Thankfully i was closer to her than him. I run right into him and knock him to the ground. Pain is shooting up my leg and back. Out of the corner of my eye, i see another wolf joins the black wolf. This one is smaller but still bigger than any of the Rogues. I drag myself to Skylar. I crouch down next to her and dare my teeth and the rogue that tries to get her. He shakes his head as he gets up. He looks to where i am and i let out the most territorial growl i can. I won't let them come near here. 

He looks into my eyes for second, assessing if he can take me. I let Rosanna come to the surface. Just as i think he is going to charge, a wolf comes out of no where and takes him down. I lets out a breath i didn't know i was hold and collapse to the ground next to skylar. I look over at her to make sure she is ok. She starts blinking her eyes a couple of times and then focuses on me.  She smiles kindly at me and sits up. "Hi Aurora. I guess i needed you to save me again huh?" She says softly.  i look at her skeptically. How does she know it is me? I have never shown her my wolf form. "I know my own best friend. I also may have peaked when you saved me the first time" she looks sheepishly at me. I huff at her in annoyance. "What i was 9 and i got curious. sue me." i roll my eyes at her. just seeing she is fine makes it all worth it. "You're hurt. Are you OK?" alarm is all over her face. I probably look bad. a white wolf covered in red blood. i might be a fast healer but this is going to take a while. 

All the adrenaline that was keeping me going has drained. Now my body feels like lead. Pain is shooting up my right let and shoulder. I shift back into human form with my black cloths still on. 'You need medical attention. What do you need me to do?" Skylar frantically looks at me. I smile at her but can't seem to do much else. "Skylar!" comes a booming voice. I slowly sit up. Skylar reaches out to help. the task is harder than it should be. I can feel her father coming closer but i can't seem to move my head to look.  I can feel skylar tense next to me and look at me. "vous avez à courir avant qu'ils ne vous prennent à nouveau" Skylar whispered to me which means you have to run before they take you again. I shake my head and look directly into her eyes. "i can't move. One of them got me good in the leg."  She nods and stands up to greet her father. "Dad this is my friend Aurora. She is the one that saved me all those years ago and she saved me today. You can't hurt her. She is my best friend." She says while turning to me. I know she is trying but i am fine iwth anything that happens to me know. My best freind is saved. Whatever my mom thought my destiny was, it won't happen now. I will probably live in a cell from here on out. 

I aromatically look at the ground. I don't say a word but I can feel his gaze on me. "Look at me." He commands. I slowly raze my gaze taking in every inch of him. I look at his toned tan legs, then his hips that black running pants are hanging loosely from, then to his delicious v and eight pack. I look higher up at his defined chest and arms, then to is broad shoulders. My eye finally reach his face and my mouth goes dry. He is the most attractive man to ever walk this planet. He has a defined sharp jaw with some stubble on it and high cheek bones, plump pink lips and silky dark black hair but the best part was his eyes. His eyes are a dark green eye with a little bit of gold around the iris. They could make you melt in a second.

Every thing around me faded away and it was just me and hum. He opened his mouth and the one word I was was expecting to hear. "Mate."
