Oh my god! Oh my god! OH MY GOD!! I think that's all my brain can manage to think. I'm walking down stairs to meet all the top ranked wolves in Alexander's pack and family. What if they don't like me. What if they think I'm too young for him. What if they don't think I'm a good Luna. Oh dear god I'm so screwed. They are going to hate me. What if Alexander thinks I'm not good enough for then.
I feel like I'm about to start hyperventilating or something. This is it. I'm royalty screwed. I don't do well on first impressions or big crowds. I haven't had a lot of experience with big crowds. How do I act around all them.
As if feeling my inner panic attack, Alexander grabs my hand stopping our walk down the hall to the dinning room. "Aurora, your my mate and the future Luna of this pack. You have nothing to worry about. They will love you." Alexander grabs my hand and kisses it. His kind words get me to stop freaking out. I just have to go down there and show that I am the Luna. I need to show that I can help run this pack with Alexander. "That's the spirit. We are the Luna and an alpha by blood. Don't let them intimidate you."
With both my wolf and Alexander, I know I can do anything. I lean up and kiss Alexander. He kisses me back. The moment our lips touch electric heat floods my veins causing my nipples to turn to hard peaks and down south to feel like wet heat needing to be quenched. The world around us quickly fades away until it's just us. We keep kiss deeply till I swear there is no space between us. I can feel the heat coming off Alexander's rock hard body and his scent fills my lungs. I loose all ability to think. I can hear my wolf whining to mate. However we are quickly pulled from our Little day dream when we hear a cough.
I jump while Alexander pulls me to his chest, shielding me from the intruder. Alexander goes rigid ready to attack and growls deeply at our intruder. "Hey dude just coming to say that everyone is getting ancy. You know how werewolves are when they are hungry." It was a deep male voice. I know I remember that voice. I try to see who it was but Alexander just hugged my tighter to his chest. "Well they can wait." I could feel him growl the words out. "Come on mate. We need to go down. I want to show that I can be a good Luna and if we don't go down now I might loose my nerve." All he does is a small growl and hug me tighter till I swear there is not way I can get closer. "Alexander please." That seemed to snap him out of whatever had gotten into him. He lets me go and I see that the person that cut off our kissing was Blake, the Third in command. Alexander puts his arm out for me and I gladly take it. I smile up at him which he returns with winks. Blake joins us as we all head down stairs.
My heart starts beating faster the closer we get to the big dinning room. I feel shaky and nervous. It's a big step to be shown to all the werewolves in power in the pack. I know if I have them on my side that the whole pack will fallow. I've just never been in a big crowd before. I loved with just my aunt and uncle for so long I don't know what to do in a big crowd of people. "Calm down. You are their Luna. You have me and our mate on our side. Just show them who you are and it will be ok." My wolf always knows what to say. With Rosanna's pep talk, I feel ready to tackle whatever it takes.
I lift my head up high and walk with confidence. I was so deep in thought that I didn't notice that we are just a couple feet from the dinning room.
I can hear people talking and laughing. I look over at Alexander and he gives me a reassuring nod. As we get closer to the dinning room. Blake gets in front of us and opens the door for us. A hush goes out in the room. It becomes so quiet that you could hear an ant scurrying on the ground. I take a deep breath and Alexander leads me inside. Everyone stands when we enter the room. If I didn't have my hand in Alexander's arm I would have fallen onto the floor in a pile of mush. I feel shaky but I can't show weakness. I steady myself and walk forward with Alexander to the end of the table with him with my head held high. I am the Luna and I need to show that I am fit for it.
Alexander pulled out the seat next to the head of the table and I sat down in it. He then walked and sits at the head of the table. Once he is seated, he gives everyone a stern nod. At that cue everyone sits and turns to their alpha waiting for him to address them. "Good evening everyone. I am happy to tell you i have met my mate and your future Luna. We will be having an official meeting with all the pack but for now i would like you all to get to know your Luna, Aurora Rose Vandervor. Please make her feel welcomed. That is all." When he finished, everyone applauded and then go back to their conversations. I smile feeling that I have Alexander on my side and nothing can go wrong.
I sit there and look around. I start to nothing everyone keep staring and talking. I don't know if it's a good stare or bad. I lean over to whisper to him. "Alexander thank you for that but everyone keeps staring. Is it bad or good?" He leans over and grabs my hand. "You're good. I think they are just interested in you. You are their Luna after all." Then he kisses me on the cheek. The dinner went smoothly from there. The dinner was brought out and everyone ate. Some of the wolves came over to congratulate the alpha on finding his mate and ask me questions. Some were easy to answer some were more personal which Alexander helped me with. I thought it went well yet I still felt uneasy.
The beta and third came up and congratulated Alexander again. They talked pack business while I walked to the kitchen for a drink. I started getting lost in thought until I heard voices outside the kitchen. "Did you see her, she is just a child and has no idea of how to take care of a man like that's needs. I bet she has never even kissed someone before." School laughter comes from multiple girls. I don't move so whoever the girls are outside won't hear me. "I bet the Alpha gets tired of her in the next week and moves on to a woman that can actually give him everything he needs and more. You never know, I might offer my services to him when he finds out that she is the worst person to be his Luna." I know that voice. My wolf comes to the surface ready to take this bitch down. "Wait! She will get what's coming to her. She has tested our authority twice now and we will put her in her place once and for all." All I get is a growl in response but she backed down. I'm not happy either but she needs to know, don't mess with an Alpha female.
