"This is Raven Reyes calling Ark Station. Come in! This is Raven Reyes calling Ark Station."
Andromeda stirred to the sound of the voice echoing above various shouts. When she opened her eyes, she wanted to shut them immediately because when she looked to the side, she saw Finn laying next to her with a long, wicked looking knife sticking out of his chest. She noticed the chaos of the hundred around her and struggled to sit up to know what was going on.
"Easy," Clarke cautioned as she made her way over to Andromeda. Clarke rested her hand on Andromeda's head to see if she had a fever. She didn't fight the girl figuring that it would be easier not to.
"What happened?" Andromeda asked.
Clarke looked down at her feet, "You and Octavia were captured by a Grounder."
"Yea I remember that," she said bitterly as she rolled her aching shoulders.
"Well Bellamy found you and brought you here but Finn..." she trailed off, "Finn got hurt."
Andromeda reached her hand out to clasp it around Clarke's shoulder and she looked up gratefully.
"Is Octavia okay? What about Bellamy?"
Clarke sighed, "Octavia's perfectly fine but angry. I'd stay out of her way. Bellamy left a while ago. He took some of his boys but he didn't say where he was going."
Andromeda nodded, "What's going on now?"
"A storm. Most everyone is inside preparing for the worst. Raven is trying to call the Ark to get a hold of the medical bay."
"Raven?"
"Apparently my mom sent her down. She's a mechanic and Finn's girlfriend."
Andromeda didn't know how to respond. She just removed her hand from Clarke's shoulder and swung her legs out to ease the tension.
"How am I looking, doc?" she asked jokingly.
Clarke smiled slightly, "Well whatever he did, the Grounder saved your life. He stitched up your side and cauterized it. I've just been trying to get you on your feet after the blood loss you suffered. You should be able to stand now."
Andromeda quickly jumped off the table she and Finn were on but immediately regretted that decision. As soon as her feet hit the floor, Andromeda's knees buckled under her weight. Clarke caught her in time.
"Easy. I said you should be able to stand."
"Ahhhhh.... Now I get it," Andromeda said slowly giving the girl a dry look.
Clarke smiled again. "Take it easy, okay?"
Andromeda rolled her eyes, "I'll try."
Tentatively, she took a step forward. For the first time in days she was able to bare herself and walk. It felt liberating. Andromeda went to walk away but turned back to Clarke.
"Clarke?"
Clarke looked at her curiously, "Yea."
"I'm sorry for everything" Andromeda turned and left Clarke standing there staring dumbfounded at the girl.
Andromeda slowly walked over to where the radio was set up and sunk down into a chair next to the girl in front of the machine.
"So... Raven," she began.
Raven turned around to look at her, "Andromeda." Andromeda almost recoiled back when she saw the girl's expression. Raven looked worried, frantic even. Old tear stains marked her face and she had dark circles under her eyes.
