As most of his apartment floor knows, Alois was gay. As gay as they came, really. They knew. And they were all actually very accepting about it, to his delighted surprise.

All but one..

Elizabeth.

She was your typical catholic homophobe, figuratively a jesus fucker. (or, literally, who knew what her boyfriend had in his pants.. or, well,)

It didnt bother Alois too much. None of that stuff ever did. He just ignored it, watching her make such a big deal out of it was very entertaining. She acted like she was 12, for gods sake.

He walked onto the elevator this morning, and speak of the devil, she jumps in right as the door is about to close, and sneers at the sight of the queer leaning up against the back of the box. "Oh God, not again.." she mumbled, her twin tails swishing across her face as she shook her head and sneered. Her boyfriend was with her. He made eye contact with Alois and shrugged, looking back down at his dog. Oh, sorry, i meant girlfriend (though i guess there isnt much difference between her and the yappy ones.)

"Good morning, you two," he said politely, smiling at them softly. Just because he thought mean things, doesnt mean he had to say them. "God hates fags," she spat back, gripping her boy toy's arm tighter as he cringed. "Elizabeth," he whispered, scolding her. "Its true." she mumbled, squeezing in the last word. He only rolled his eyes. Jesus, what was she wearing? Leopard leggings, red boots, flower print blouse? If he wasnt gay before, he sure was now. "Well, this is our stop then. I'll see you two around," Alois spoke as he stepped out of the elevator, licking the corner of his lip slightly as he smiled kindly.

"I CAN ASSURE YOU, WE WILL NOT!!" She barked back, dashing down the hallway into her apartment. He turned into his room and locked the door behind him, sighing as he shrugged off his coat. "We live in the same damn apartment building," he mumbled, walking over to his laptop to research his essay. "Of course we'll be seeing each other around," he bit before beginning to type.

//next day//

"And furthermore, while we're on the subject.." professor Claude rambled on and on, it was a surprise Alois was actually learning anything in that class.

Well, then again not really, English Arts was his best subject, but it was fun to tease the prof anyway.

"Dont tell me you're listening to this bull," someone next to him whispered in his ear. He turned his head to see who it was- none other than Lizzy's boyfriend himself! He would act surprised had he not had this class every day. This was normal. "When am i ever?" Alois smirked back, eyes darting to the front of the classroom to make it look like he gave a crap.

"Its a wonder how you get through college, honestly." Ciel remarked, a coy smile covering his face too as he leaned back in his chair. He had all his notes neatly organized in a blue binder, his notebook computer tucked away in his carrier bag. He was done for today. "Are we on for uh, 'coffee' later?" Alois licked the corner of his lip as his smile grew wider, flashing him a dangerous glance out of the corner of his eye.

"Wouldn't miss it."

//later that day//

"Jesus.." Ciel sighed as he rubbed his shoulder, trying to work out the kinks in his back as Alois dug around for his shirt. He knew he flung it somewhere... "You've been waiting for that, huh?" Ciel commented snidely, pulling Alois' shirt from the counter behind him. "Lizzy was really ticking me off today, since you cant keep a muzzle on your dog i see no reason why my cup of joe shouldn't be the damn best, after all im forced to go through."

Ciel only chuckled and shook his head. "Honestly.."

Alois pulled his shirt over his head and stood up, walking over to him with a predatory look in his eyes as he placed his hand on the back of his neck and pulled him closer, so their noses were just barely touching. "Why? Did you not enjoy it?" he whispered, and Ciel visibly flushed before turning his head to the side. Alois smirked and kissed his cheek before letting him go and strutting away to find his overcoat. "Lets have coffee at your house next time, Trancy," he offered, pulling at the hair on the back of his neck nervously. Not that it showed on his face though, like usual.

"if you're okay with Lizzy hearing, then yes totally i'll take you-- ahem, my coffee, against the wall any time." Alois said back with a small smirk. Ciel only shook his head. "You are insane, you know that?" He mumbled as he tugged his socks on, jumping around and trying to tug the last part over his heel. It was Alois' turn to sigh at him.

"Honestly-- when will you be ready? i have classes soon and i wanna walk back to campus with you," Alois whined. "just a moment, you brat," Ciel snarked, slipping into his shoes. it wasnt his fault Alois was faster at getting dressed than he was.

"Ready?" he rose to his feet and held out his arm for Ciel to link them together. He nodded as he slipped his arm into Alois's, moving his hand down and into his pocket so their hands were linked together.

Alois looked away as Ciel went to open the door and as soon as he did Alois heard a gasp.

"C-ciel.. how.. how could you!!"

Alois'd recognize that voice from anywhere. he whipped his head around to see none other than Elizabeth, standing in the doorway with a look of exasperation.

he could only shrug, squeezing Ciel's hand tighter as he smirked.

"God bless, bitch."
