Side note! Ciel lives in one of those houses where the driveway is out front, and he's 19, while Alois is 20. Also they both live alone, but have close friends nearby in the neighbourhood.

That is all!

Ciel was sitting on his couch in front of the fireplace, all alone for the night. He didn't really have much to do, so he stared into the crimson and amber flames and sipped his tea in peace.

He closed his eyes and felt the warmth radiate from the fire to him, and listened as the fire cracked and popped in front of him. It was something he didn't get often, what with Sebastian and his crazy friends always over. Of course Sebastian always cleaned up the mess, and he did a stellar job at it too,

But it was never quiet, and he always left, Ciel having a new sort of headache to take care of.

But still, he felt lonely at times, so having them over was something that gave Ciel pleasure, though he'd never admit it out loud.

His thought bubble popped when he heard a knock at his door. Sighing, he sat up, flicked on his lamp, and made his way to the door, tea in hand and blanket lazily draped over his shoulders.

"Hello! Uh, I seem to have found myself in kind of a predicament..."

The boy scratched the back of his neck, tilting his head and smiling nervously as if in apology. When he opened them, Ciel was taken aback by how.. Blue they were. Like a crystal, or a diamond. He could possibly compare the colour he saw to his favourite day in the summer, a picnic with his family on a grassy hill downtown.

He almost smiled, before he remembered where he stood, and just how gone that memory was. He looked up again at the boys face, and he batted his lashes.

"Uh.. My name is Alois, I seem to have gotten my car stuck in your driveway? I was trying to turn around, I went down the wrong street by accident, but I guess since its dark out I didn't see all the snow there.. I was hoping I could trouble you for a little help?"

Ciel sighed in frustration at the boy, who he now knew was called Alois.

"I guess it wouldn't kill anybody. Sure. Give me a second."

"Great! I'll-"

He was cut off by Ciel shutting the door on his face.

Alois stood there for awhile, and when he decided to knock, Ciel had walked out with some gloves and a hat, plus extra for the man on his doorstep. The blond thanked him before they both got to work trying to shovel some snow out of the way of the tires.

"Young master? I heard you required my assistance?"

Ciel grunted.

"Enough with that silly nickname! I need your help pushing this idiots car out of my driveway."

"I am not an idiot! We wouldn't be having this problem if you had bothered to shovel it!"

"I knew you should have. I kept warning yo--"

"Shut up already and come push this bloody thing out of my life."

"You mean me or the car?"

Alois smirked on the other side, leaning on his shovel.

"Preferably both,"

Mumbled Ciel in annoyance.

~time skip~

"Ciel, I'm afraid we can't get it out. I have to return, I have... a guest.. waiting for me."

Ciel sighed in frustration as Alois flashed an awkward and apologetic smile.
