Anyway!!! Lets get on with it!!
__________

Their breaths came out in slow, calm puffs, rising into the chilly air as the wind nipped at their fingertips.

"Ciel! Hurry up and tie your skates before they close the rink!"

"Well, sorry!"

He shot back defensively in a sarcastic tone.

"I'm used to having Sebastian take care of this for me! Leave me alone!"

Alois sighed in frustration as he ran his gloved fingers through his hair. He had wanted to do something productive with his boyfriend for a long time, but there wasn't much to do in the winter months, and Christmas was rolling around so all the fun places were packed full of obnoxious passerby, and it nauseated them both.

And then Alois remembered skating. He hadn't skated since his younger brother Luka was still in town, and he always loved it so much. It was something they shared, and were both so good at.

He figured he'd share that passion with Ciel, for lack of better things to do while the frost took over the city.

So now, there they were, an extremely slow bluenette and a very impatient blond at the slightly less-crowded public rink.

"Okay. I'm ready."

"Yay!"

Alois almost jumped out of his skates in excitement. He missed the feeling of the ice shredding underneath him. It felt great. He smiled widely and tried to remember why he had put this off for so long.

Of course, Alois had just assumed Ciel knew how to do everything, because it had come so natural to him. He had lost himself in swirling around the rink with his hands in the air, or speeding past couples to catch snowflakes on his tongue.

After about five minutes of unnecessary tricks and multiple twirls, Alois noticed the loss of a presence he craved.

Ciel.

He looked over to where they were before when Ciel had been perfecting his skates, and not too far off, there he was, hunched over the side of the rink.

Oh, the poor boy. It hadn't occurred to him at all, not in the slightest.

His boyfriend did not have the slightest clue how to skate.

"Ciel? Are you okay?"

He lifted his head and shot Alois a glare, lifting himself off the edge of the board as the paint flakes dropped lazily onto the ice.

"I'm fine."

The older stared at him blankly in disbelief, so to attempt to prove a point, Ciel lifted the hand that remained glued to the flimsy board up, and managed to balance himself enough to scoot forward.

"See? I've got this. I don't need help."

"I didn't offer my help yet."

"Yet. I know you so well that I knew you were going to offer it so I declined before you could."

Alois giggled at this.

"Okay, whatever you say."

He put his arms behind his back and pushed himself off and towards the centre of the rink again, but this time kept a careful watch on the younger.

"He's going to fall..."

He mumbled to himself, before swerving around people to make his way back to the outskirts of the rink yet again.

He was holding on to the edge so tight that it looked like if Ciel let go of the rim he'd fall of the edge of the earth into an abyss. He slowly pushed himself forward, just barely moving. Like a child learning to walk.

He just stood and watched with an amused smirk as Ciel struggled to get a feel of the ice, when Alois leaned over and grabbed his hands.

"What are you--"

"You're coming with me. You need help, and I'm giving it to you whether you like it or not."

Ciel sighed in flush and slight embarrassment, but gripped his hands tighter as a sign of hesitant approval.

Alois guided him slowly around the ice, in circles that varied in size as they skated around the people. As time flew by the numbers began to dwindle until it was just them and a few other couples around the large flat of ice.

They were both laughing as they held hands and glided across the sheet of frozen snow. Albeit every once in awhile Ciel complained about being helped against his initial will, he appreciated the help. But he wouldn't dare tell Alois that, for it would damage his pride.

They were both having so much fun that Alois had found himself beginning to forget what speed he was supposed to be going and gradually picked up his strokes against the ice, whilst still holding Ciel's hand.

"A-Alois!' Slow dow-- Ah!"

And just like that they both crashed into each other and fell fast to the ground.

"You bloody idiot.."

Ciel cursed him out with a snide undertone in his voice as Alois rubbed the back of his head, an awkward and apologetic smile plastered to his face.

"S-sorry about that.."

He let out a nervous laugh as Ciel shakily stood and brushed the shredded ice off his pants, and offering a hand to his boyfriend who was still sitting on the ground.

"Come on Alois, lets just go home. I'm cold and we could get Sebastian to make some hot chocolate, yeah?"

"S-sure, sounds lovely."

He placed his palm in the younger's hand and hoisted himself up off the ground and grunted in pain.

"Are you alright?"

"Y-yeah.. My forehead kind of hurts.."

Ciel thought for a minute as they both slowly scooted back to the box to undo their skates.

"Want me to kiss it better?"

Alois looked up at Ciel in surprise, and blushed when he felt Ciel connecting his lips to the centre of his forehead.

"H-hey Ciel..."

He cast his gaze to his lap as he formed an idea in his head and smirked inwardly.

"Yeah?"

"My lip kinda hurts too.. Could you kiss that better as well?"

Ciel sighed and dropped his laces as he cupped his cheeks and brought their faces together. Alois closed his eyes in anticipation as he felt his warm breath tickle his lips.

Alois leaned forward slightly and smiled as their lips connected in a slow, soft kiss. It was sweet, like candy, and warm, like hot chocolate. And he loved every second of it.

Ciel pulled away and blew on his nose as Alois let out a delighted little squeak in reference to the kiss. Ciel chuckled at his childish boyfriend.

"You're such a dork, Trancy."

"Only for you, Phantomhive~"

He leaned forward and whispered one last time fire closing the gap again,

"Only for you..."
