The people bowed as Francis and Mary walked down the aisle to the rest of the royals: Francis' parents.

Her heart swelled as each one bowed before her.

It was so unusual but she would have to get used to it.

"You've had a vision," Catherine noticed Nostradamus' face as the awaited the Scottish Queen.

"It was about Francis and Mary," he stopped himself, his face in pain.

"Say it!" she hissed.

"She will cost Francis his life."

Catherine stepped back, shocked and scared for her dear son.

She looked back at Nostradamus and his face was still and serious.

She had thought Mary a good match, but now...

She knew she must keep Mary away.

"You have returned to the court at you own Queen's bidding. As noble ladies, you must council her, prepare her. Account for her."

Kenna, Hayleigh, Lola and Greer stood in a straight line, facing the strict woman who was sent to teach them.

Mary lounged on a poofy chair behind them.

All the girls hated this woman from the moment they met her.

"For the princess Elizabeth's wedding as with any event, you must acquaint yourselves and Mary with all visiting royalty and dignitaries."

She paused and glared at them to which they all cowered back.

Mary watched on from her chair, amused at how her friends were scared of this big old lady.

"Who amongst you is fluent in Italian?" she asked.

They all looked straight at Hayleigh who looked sheepish and very bashful all of a sudden.

"I suppose I am," she sighed.

The old lady smiled, like a predator would smile at its prey.

"You will sit next to the Pope's cousin." She breathed in and rolled her eyes.

"He has no teeth and speaks very quickly."

The girls couldn't control their laughter. High squeals came from them and even Mary was laughing.

They tried to cover it up but the lady just sighed and rolled her eyes again.

***

Cheek tint was placed in front of them to which they all delighted.

Next was melted kohl for their eyes, and even more stunning things.

They all helped each other apply the beautiful makeup, laughing as they went.

"Are all these dresses from Paris?" Greer sighed, in heaven as she tried one on.

"Yes! Every one!!!" Kenna jumped.

"If Colin could see me, he'd marry me in a second," Lola sighed, with a smile on her face.

She twirled.

"I look of age now! We all do."

Hayleigh cut in as Mary glanced in the mirror. "You know what I'd like to do... Explore! We haven't been outside since we were children."

"I know the castle has changed... Who's with me?"

"I am!" Shouted Kenna as Mary looked on cautiously.
