As James left Marigold Farm, the sun began to set. It was almost dark. As he turned his car headlights on, he increased the volume of the radio. The beats of his favourite song echoed through his ears. The lyrics reminding him of things that have happened recently.
I wanna run away
I wanna run away
Anywhere out this place
I wanna run away
Just U and I, I, I, I, I
U and I, I, I, I, I
U and I, I, I, I, I
U and I, I, I, I, I
Just U and I
I wanna run
Chase the morning sun when I'm with U
Give it all away
Catching fire as the wind blows
I know that I'm rich enough for pride,
I see a billion dollars in your eyes
Even if we're strangers til we die

The fast beats and inspiring words of Runaway by Galantis faded and NewsBeat, the news on the local radio station, came on. The usual same sort of things anyone would hear on the news. Weather, crimes, new community rules intended to help the community and so on. Same old, same old.
As James peered round the corner through his car window, NewsBeat ended and the next few songs began to be played. He turned onto the main road from the long twisty lane leading to the farm, and it soon disappeared behind him in a cloud of fog. It was dark and the fog only let a few shining lights of stars through like spotlights at a concert. A few songs later, James was 'strolling' down the unusually quiet main road in his car. The fields beside him suddenly changed into housing estates and ugly bulky shops and warehouses.

It was silent. Unusual silence.

The dark countryside soon lit up with the lights of the estates and 24/7 shops. The streetlights lit the way like stars guiding the way. The silence, apart from accompanying music from the radio, was deadly. As James stopped at red lights, he pulled down the sun-visor from the roof of his car. The mirror was hidden by a crinkled old picture of him and Tally. It was when he got Tally for his 15th birthday. The lights around the disguised mirror framed the picture almost perfectly. After 4 joy filled, loveable years with Tally - they had drawn to a close - unbearably, unfortunately.

As James parked his car onto his drive and turned his keys, he clambered out of the car in a state. The tears on his face had begun to dry - crusting over. He locked his car behind him and made his way into his house, wiping the now fresh tears from his pale face.
