🐴Tally's P.O.V🐴

As Zara put me in my temporary stable, I struggled to barley stand let alone walk. She showed me how I should extend my stride but I was confused as James and his instructor told me to do it differently. Zara doesn't really care about me like the way James did. I reckon that everyone at Marigold Farm liked me as everyone who walked past either patted me or stroked my nose. Zara didn't even check my hooves or legs for any cuts, splinters or grazes. So far I don't like it here.
Ellington Hall is a few more hours down the road and so far Zara says we have to stay here for a bit longer because the stables there aren't ready for me yet. I take that as an insult, in a way.
"Hey." The owner of this place talks to her horse, who is in the stable next to me. I whinny in desperation of attention.
"Don't whinny, mr." She groans at the sight of my knotted tail and messy mane. "Let me sort that out for you, mr." She left in a hurry and came back with my grooming kit. She looked at the picture on the plastic tray with the two compartments - one on the left and one on the right. James always kept a picture of me in his grooming kit and he left it in there.
"So you are the famous Tally...." She said to me as she closed the door behind her. It had started to rain outside and the rain thundered against the corrugated roof. I looked up in fear and she used a calm soothing voice to get my attention back. She began to brush me from face to tail and then she did my hooves. She 'unknotted' my mane and tail and cleaned my hooves with the hoof pick that had a brush on it too. She refilled my water and my haynet, bulging with hay, full to the absolute brim. Luckily I had no cuts or grazes on me so I was okay to eat and sleep. This woman is definitely better than that Zara.
